I've been playing them lately as well and have come close to the top 200 just about every time then my bad luck hits and i'll get a AA, and AK and get beat :(. hopefully today that changes!

That's one hell of a sentence there James and a little hard to follow. :) But if you're asking if it's worth it to play in the satellites...of course it is. They have the 50FTP sng and the .25c sng. If you are placing in 15 out the 20 sngs your currently playing, I can't see how you can go wrong. Play your game and you'll be fine.

i dont think they were profitable, i mean they charge you a 5 cents fee for a 0.25 satelite and thats a 20% of the buy in... you should be able to win at least 1 of 3 tournaments and its not very easy... i think you are just in a good streak, in the long term you will see that those tournaments are just a waste of time.

They are more profitable than the 1.25$ SNGs and the 2.25$ SNGs.

With a win rate of 33.33% in the 0.25$ games (divided equally amongst 1st, 2nd, 3rd) you will brake even.

With this win rate in the 1.25 $ SNG tourneys (same division of placings) you'll make -20%.

With this win rate at the 2.25 $ SNGs you will make -11%.

You can always unregister for the tourney (recommended if 1$ is out of your MTT BR limits) you will get 1 tourney $.
If you already qualified for the DD you'll get 1 tourney $ automatically.

conclusion: These are the best BR builders atm, imo.

Happy grinding ...

I'm finding most freerolls just take way too long. I finished in the top 200 then ran the tourney following it, and it was like 5-6 hours of poker. Which most of the time it's gonna come down to a coinflip nearing the bubble unless you run really good.

to start off with a small br i'd play these SnG's -
*Satelite to daily dollar (the 50ftp SnG)
*Super Satellite to double deuce (2$ game)
*Matrix games (lower payout, but less chance to lose your entire buy-in)

imo MTTs are kinda tricky for a small br

I love the idea of these. Because like it was stated before, this can be a great way to build a bankroll without much cost. That is always good.
As for the freeroll Satellites for the tournys they can be kind of brutal. Starting out with just 300 chips turns the first few rounds into a lottery.
But in the end with it being a freeroll you can't complain much.
My question is: If you do make it in the top 200 and get in, do you have to play that days DAILY DOLLAR? Or can you enter into another one on a different day? Because also like mentioned earlier, to play both in the same day and back to back is quite a marathon.
Just my .02 cents.
See you at the felt.

Yea, getting that one chance to play the daily dollar is great... except for having to take about 4 hours of your day just to make 2.50...

daily dollar is ok imo....you have to run EXTREMELY good just to get double your buy in (2 bucks).

so i dunno, they're fun....but.....dont seem to be very profitable imo
