180 players, two get entry to the tourney. Are these worth trying? I have 2400 FTP burning a hole in my cashier.

I played a few waiting for the Double Duece. Complete Donkfests! People will get it in with anything.


IMO you could find a better way to spend your points.

Ive played them. Its the cheapest tourney to play on tilt (besides play money and freerolls).

It's a waste of time and 5 ftp's. Even though I won one of these it's not worth it.

I would suggest using your FTPs for tourneys that have better payout structures. Paying only 2 spots out of 180 just sucks.

FTPs are worth more than most people think, use them wisely.

Ok after seeing this post again Ive decidedto share what Im doing with them. Nothing. Saving them. Since January Ive racked up 27k playing 5nl & 10nl.

When I get a bunch Ill use them all at once to buy something from the store.

+ Ive been told(I think by WVHillbilly) that using them can neg. affect your MGR. And I definately dont want that.

I can't get RB from them and barely play there anymore so that isnt much of a concern for me.

I play them sometimes when nothing else left to do... And i can i tell that its pure luck who wins it. All you can do is wait for better cards and all in until blinds kill you. Made it to the fnal table few times, but didnt won anything. You better save you FTPs for some gear.

I won one of these and found them fun although their preety donkish. the beats you see in these things are one of a kind.

750FTP for a 3.30 ticket seems like a lot. How much did I pay in rake to get these 2400 points? Seems like 750 should be worth more than 3.30? No?

Wait for another 600 points and get that security card...

If you really wanna play with FTP, then try the 40FTP Sunday-Brawl satellite.

I played the 5 points game and made it with my 4th try to the final table...
...but that's it...! :(
