I am running a very cold streak lately. I played for hours on PS at Omaha Hi Lo. Could not get any cards.

I would get some good hold cards, but, after folp I dedided to give it up for tonite.

And the winners were playing bad hands, chasing. But, appeared to be winning.

I guess we all have those days.:joyman: :joyman: :joyman:

Yes we do all have those days. Even the best pros have those days.

My advice for these situations

1) Don't go on tilt.
2) Change games for a bit
3) Quit for a day or two even exclude yourself from play if needed and go read a chapter of your favorite poker book.

Had that same problem with omaha h/l this weekend. Went through 4 rebuys (only $2 per shot) at a cash table. Have walked away a bit this week and will give it another go next weekend. Good luck m8!

Sometimes the words "All you can do is make the best decisions possible, and force your opponent to make incorrect decisions." Dont help, but I say them anyway. I've said them a lot today unfortunately.

I know how you feel. I playing though a cold streak of a different kind right now. I am playing good cards but I keep getting drawn out on. I go in with a full house and the other guy hits a straight flush. All kinds of hands like that. I have been on a bad beat streak for the past week.

I know how you feel. I've had one of those weeks. Getting torn up by absurd chases that hit at the last minute and so on. I'm generally very good at controlling the tilt, but the smallest stupidest bit advice that actually helped me a lot was one I got from an article in a Card Player I was reading at Foxwoods one night. Take a deep breath. That's it, draw in a deep long slow breath and let it out, make it one of those good ones that shudders your chest a bit, and it seems like all the tiltmonkey rage goes right out with it.
