I got this notice too.. I am guessing we are going to revolution where lock poker poker or the winning network that has america cardroom at.
In a way I am happy to see this.. Merge has been going down hill.

I didn't play there, but it looks as if you can choose another merge site to have your account moved to if you want.

Merge is really starting to go downhill. I dont play there anymore besides freerolls on the weekends from a different poker forum. If I do win big there I am afraid that I will never see that money with the withdraws being so screwed up.

What would make you think they are making a turn for the worse?

They are continuing on the path of cleaning up the skins that in the past offered bastardized deals to steal players from other skins which ended up just eating up the Network.

A turn for the worse would be closing a skin/buying a skin and then not paying the players funds owed. Carbon is trying to right the ship from everything I have seen. Only time will tell, but the closing of these skins based just on that information alone is positive.

I think with Black Chip Poker going to the America's Cardroom skin and Lock going with juicy stakes (Cake) has made the community worried about the merge rooms. I have the same concern and have still played on the merge sites especially Carbon and Hero. I am still partial to BCP and America's Cardroom.

That is a good point and something to watch. Now of course with the elimination of P2P Transfers you are going to lose players, especially the ones who were playing on stakes and players who depended on P2P to play.

Also, on the face of it, poor Public Relations is a factor and likely has scared players away, as well as persistent rumors that the Network is bankrupt.

All I know is, ATM I would rather have a large amount of money on Merge than Revolution. At least I can withdraw in about 1 month or less instead of current 3-4 Months on Revolution (well I could pay 20-30% vig in immediate transfers).

Well, I created a New act on Carbon and emailed support like it says ,So will see if they transfer my funds. 35% rakeback and my VIP point over to it. I never had any problems with RPM just towards the last three months the promos really started sucking . I hope Carbon has some good promos.

I've not heard of any recent withdrawals taking a month at Merge. 6-10 weeks seems to be the standard lately, with a lot of people on the longer end of that.

Lock has WU (for everyone, not just those that have deposited WU several times), and withdrawals take less than a month. My last one took 15 days to have cash in hand. Some people have taken as little as 8 days, while some others stretched out to maybe 4 weeks. I'm about to withdraw again so we'll see.

So between Merge and Revolution, I'd much rather be withdrawing from Revolution (Lock). P2P is also still active.

True, it had always taken about 5-7 weeks for me to get checks from RPM . I thought it was strange I ordered a $300.00 check aprox 1 1/2 weeks ago and it only took 2weeks to get .Thought maybe they were improving the time it took to be Competitive against other sites . Now this ughhhh .

I guess I have not followed the Lock WU withdrawal (although that comes with high fees) so I appreciate your enlightenment. But I do follow Carbon Withdrawals closely, and in fact, for some time now withdrawals have been averaging about 1 month. In the past 30 days the average has slipped below one month. There has been a little jumble since the very recent change to the new Carbon Cashier, but people are reporting withdrawals of less than a month, unless they got caught in the problem of having a withdrawal in the works while the cashier changed over. Those people had to start over again.

note: I tend to have been following Juicy Stakes which apparently does not have the liberal WU Withdrawal features and has subjected people to 4 month withdrawals at the moment. Of course, you have the ability to pay the greedy money changers 20-30% to get your money off, while Merge has shut down that ability.

The WU fee is 10%, and you get one free per month, same as with check withdrawals. So if you're not withdrawing multiple times per month, WU is free. And even when you pay it, 10% beats most of the vig options out there. So it's not what I'd call high.

The biggest issue with Lock is that the max withdrawal is $2500 and you can only have 1 pending withdrawal at a time, so getting a lot of money off quickly is a problem. But then, so it is everywhere unless you can P2P.

My Merge comments were based on before the changes (dropping P2P) and even after with BCP and the other smaller skins. Merge is trying to consolidate the network on Carbon and Sportsbook skins only, so it makes sense they'd get the best cashier options and faster payouts.

Well my money has been moved into my new Carbon act . Can't even tell it's there unless you sit at a table then you can see balance . Kind of strange how they took option to see funds away . Also I am trying to get them to give me my 35% rakeback that I had before . Don't see it yet . And I have to submit new verification of ID , CC, and address to receive any money back .

Lobby there use to be a show money balance on here but they got rid of it for some reason?
