Rooms To Avoid

I am a United States player, and I've noticed that there are a few threads on here that don't exactly talk highly about a few sites. I currently play on Black Chip/America's Cardroom, Bovada, Carbon, and occasionally Lock, but I'm leaving my options open for other U.S. accepting sites if there are any out there.

I already know to avoid BetOnline, and I know that Lock pretty much sucks because of the issues with cash out, but the underlying purpose of this thread is to find out which sites I should really avoid like the plague, and if any of the other four that I named (excluding Lock) I should consider avoiding in the future.

Conversely, if there are any U.S. friendly sites that I haven't named in this forum, (how's juicy stakes?) feel free to name some that are worth looking into.

juicy stakes is worse then lock poker.

I think if you focus on Bovada and Carbon you won't have any issues. Start to stray to Lock or (brunson forbid) BetOnline *shudder* then you're gonna have a bad time. Stick to what you know. Once pokerstars comes back to real money in US I'll be there and Bovada, that's just what I enjoy.

Stick with the poker rooms that actually pay.
Bovada, America's Card Room, Black Chip Poker. They are known to pay within a few weeks, if not days.
Avoid at all costs, lock poker, juicy stakes.

This is what I was wondering. Everyone that has been answering in this thread seems to be like "AVOID LOCK!!!", but it seems that the only reason is because they have cash out issues. These issues seem like they can be resolved simply by sending a PM to dakota, so why avoid Lock?

By the way, even though this is off-topic (doesn't really matter though because I started this one ) but has anyone actually done the whole PM to dakota thing for Lock cash out assistance? I know if you don't it can take quite awhile to get your money out from Lock -- something like months to get it. If you have done this, how long did it take you to get your money and what cash out method did you use?

I'm not taking anything away from Dakota, she is great and very helpful. That being said when she does help you, 1 you will not instantly receive your money (it will be greatly sped up), 2 the bigger one she can only help a few people a week, I don't know the exact number. I would advise staying away from lock if you want your money at any decent speed. Now if you don't care about the money with the promotions and games lock is a great place to play.

does anyone have like a list of the U.S. friendly sites? I play on Lock and like everyone else have been having troubles with my cashouts taking a while. I wouldn't mind looking at another site, I see bovado is one to look at and carbon also?

I just play on bovada. I would like other rooms to play in but I play low limit and black chip and carbon have very few people playing them. It seem hard to get a game going.

Bovada is cool so far. Unfortunately I still have money on Lock. For some God forsaken reason I can't seem to lose there all of a sudden.

I hear you there. I have some money on Lock....thankfully not a lot, but as of late I've been winning on there more than any other site. It's almost kind of annoying that the site that I win most on is the site that is the hardest to withdraw from

Interesting stories you have i have never been experiencing something like cashout issues..

I did take money out of lock. It took a long 2 months. Bovada takes days

I wish Lock would gets its crap together

Bovada has the softest games and the best payouts by far.
I like the Carbon software but games are a little tougher and payouts slower.
Lock has alot of easy games but I have not played there long and am about to put in my first pay out. I'm expecting a delay. When I played on Cake I had a few payouts take 6 months.... unreal.

bovada is very good for cashout speed. But with their anonymous tables and zone game, I think poker bot can really be a problem
