Removing the Blackjack and Sidebet icons from Party.

If like me you're scared of blowing your bankroll on Party's crappy new "features" in a drunken haze, or if you just don't want to fall into the temptation of making -EV bets, just do the following.

- Got to \partypoker\Images
- Delete or move the following:

lobby_bj_button.jpg
sidebetbg.jpg
sidebetclose.bmp
sidebetclosebet.bmp
sidebetopen.bmp
sidebetopenbet.bmp
sidebetupdateprocess.jpg
table_bj_button.jpg

The "bj" files obviously relate to blackjack and the "sidebet" ones relate to dancing monkeys, or sidebets. You choose.

yeh you should do this asap because i blew $47 last saturday at paradise through blackjack aftre a night out good advice dorkus.

It's a little odd these new 'enhancements' to me... poker's a sure-fire profit for the sites, while a good Blackjack player has an edge over the house, so they can lose money... I guess they're competing with the likes of 888.com, who have their own casino site alongside their poker site, and the average poker player isn't a good Blackjack player...

Only if they're card counting, which of course is quite hard online.

Otherwise the house has a slight edge, even if the player uses the optimum strategy.
