Just so you know (and you maybe already do, I'm new here) but Red Star and Players Only are one in the same. I've been looking for a new site, and I downloaded both. Then tonight I went to use them and they both told me that I needed the same update. Then after they updated (mysteriously using the same interface graphics and things for the download) I logged in to both and found that they had the same tournaments, and nearly the same interface in their programs.

Sweet. I was looking for new sites and managed to pick the two that are the same. :)

Same as Cake and Doyle's Room, too. I really don't care to much for the interface, myself.

For someone looking for new sites to play, you sure chose two odd ones, esp. considering how many people advised you to stick with the bigger, well-known sites.

The Cake Network includes more than 20 sites. This is normal in online poker. There are hundreds of sites, but only about 30 different networks.

The different sites on a network share the same software and most of the same games and tournaments, although individual sites often have special tournaments of their own in addition.

If you want a different poker experience, check out CCs Site Reviews (tab at top of page) and CC also has links to many of the best sites here:

My personal recommendation for something completely different: Try Titan or, if you are an American and that is closed to you, possibly Full Tilt or bodog.

I would search some of the vent threads for comments on Players Only as well. Seems there are Cards Chat members that cannot cash out there and other customer service issues.
