Been concerned for awhile about the goings on over at Lock Poker (and because they own the Revolution Network the other skins as well). The latest public pronouncement that they have segregated players in the higher stakes games (only after players discovered the unannounced changes) has provided the 'last straw' in my own humble opinion.

Take it FWIW, but I would immediately get any funds you have on Lock Poker or any other Revolution Skin off the sites in whatever way you can do it, no matter the method.

Until they can show they provide a reliable option to the poker playing community, there is just no reason to jeopardize your hard-earned funds.

I don't think it's at that point. I agree about Lock for sure. I've been preaching against them for over a year. The "high stakes" segregation is a direct sign of LOCK's liquidity problems.

This however does not mean a player's funds are in any real jeopardy at responsible, segregated cashiers. I know that I keep 5 figures at intertops and I'm not the slightest bit worried about their ability to pay out in the event of a network failure.

You are a respected person, and you are certainly 'putting your money where your mouth is'....

But the poker landscape is littered with tons of people who got caught with hundreds of thousands of dollars on full tilt poker still yet to see their money. Why would they even take a chance on Lock given all the recent history? Not worth the gamble imo

I agree... Lock is unstable. Perhaps I didn't get that across clearly enough.

*Also, I respect you as well. You post tons of great information on sites and openly express your opinion on sites behavior across multiple forums... :)

remember withdraws taking for ever

No, you can get your funds off immediately using the Player2Player Transfer. There is active trade in Lock Funds, and you can get money sent to your bank account, other options, it just costs you 30% or more to get it done right away. Expensive but likely worth it to have your money in less than 100 days.

Found another reason to run from Lock Poker as fast as you can!!!!!

Posters on another poker forum are 'tearing Lock Poker a new one' with tons of negative posts, speculation , a flurry of threads when the site goes down, and other complaints

Recent Thread titles include: "Is Lock a sinking ship?"; High Stakes Segregation; Lock Poker problems; WE DEMAND REAL ANSWERS; Lock get's worse and worse; Lock needs to stop crashing every week; YOU ARE ALL PART OF A PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT; Lock down?; Is Lock down?; Cash tables down???; *Lock Boycott starter thread*; Questions Lock refuses to answer

This is a quote from the Lock Poker Rep today:

Great effort from both of you, was talking with our CEO today she had been watching Jerkydude's run to challenge Mccormickxx with great interest. (commenting on a challenge race the site is having this month)

Was she discussing a solid plan to resolve the massive issues plaguing her site, or at least acknowledge they need to be fixed?

Well, there was no answer to that question. And I find it pretty damning that all hell is breaking loose and Lock just hopes it will all be swept under the rug and the sheep will keep grazing.

Also, the author of the 4Flush Article Lock Poker in Trouble as Ring-Fencing & Liquidity Concerns Arise spoke up today saying:

I actually wrote this article for 4Flush. All the information in there is verifiable and I do think the situation at Lock is poor. There are more rumors that I couldn't include in the post that are much more damning. I trust the sources but again, as a previous poster mentioned it's still just speculation.

I want Lock to succeed as I don't want US players to lose another network. However, the segregation of cash tables from the rest of the network and the lack of an announcement regarding the change is not acceptable. No one knows if they even told the other skins that they were making this move.

If Lock would make this move to their sister skins on the network, (sites that help liquidity and make Lock money) it's tough to imagine how they might treat players and affiliates if things go sour.

I don't keep much on any of the Revolution network sites. Just logged in to all of the ones I'm on & put in for a withdrawal on the only one I had $'s on. It's super easy for me to deposit & don't play much on there anyways. Left enough for a few MTT buyins, can always make a quick deposit if I choose to play in more (realized it wasn't making any sense to just leave $'s there when I'm not active on there & would hate to lose anything... 'again')
