I recently went through a ton of money hoping to hit it big, which was the worst decision I ever made, I mean Im still alive and all, but it was a horrible run of luck, and lost good money.

I've decided to revamp my game and can use any suggestions on type of gameplay that you people use, so I can take bits and pieces and change my game. It's been awhile since I withdrew, and Its getting tiresome. One thing I told myself that is for sure happening is, I'm TIGHTENING up my game, I was a loose player, erratic, bluffed lots, and rarely ever payed attention to little things.

I think it's time to up my game and make poker a winning thing!

P.S. Thanks in Advance!

I'm sorry but your post is overly vague hard to help you, the main thing is if your playing tournaments or cash, try lower buy ins. The comments you said, basically said you were not in a state to play mentally, if that is the case just don't play.

Feel your pain...

Past two weeks (cash or tourney) I have been getting one-up'ed almost every hand I play. I have a set they have one higher set, I have boat they have quads, I have a straight they have other end of straight, I flop top two pair they river flush...

Taking a break for a few weeks and hope the "poker gods" lighten up on me when I return...

Just take a rest of playing poker. From my experience its works a lot. If you loose like 5-10 tournaments with beats, you must to stop them playing and take a rest. Purge thoughts about poker.

Hi X MaCs X and welcome to Cardschat, where you can get the answers you need for your problems, but it's up to you to use the advice. First of all, let us know what level you are playing at, and with how much of a BR you are playing with? Second, how long have you been playing? Last of all for now, do you know what BRM is and how to use it in order to hold onto you BR? GL to you
