I constantly have a question which poker is better online or real!
in online poker people don’t panic, they don’t see each other and they’re ready to play at once
in real life everything is very serious sometimes it even scares
in online sometimes cards fall which in real chance of falling much lower
in real life, low cards are more often drawn
Ace falls most often online
what tactics do you think are best for online games and for real in general? I'm a newbie so I ask you do not judge strictly my reasoning

I have, and probably always will, prefer live over online but I have been learning a lot about how to adapt to online play, especially online MTT and micro-stake tourneys. You can find a ton of information online about strategy and almost all of them tell you to play normal poker. Find a hand range that you're comfortable with but fancy stuff and attempting to outwit another opponent does not provide the same benefit online as it would in real life. Online players can be pretty careless and even if you have a solid read on your opponent, a call, raise or whatever is as easy as clicking a button. Be aggressive and don't slow play nearly as much while playing online, take advantage of fold equity and always go for value with your hands. Poker math is super beneficial for both live and online. Basic knowledge of outs and probability, pot odds, implied odds etc can help make decisions easier and increase your chances of winning and profiting from certain situations over time.

All of the above can apply to live poker as well but you can add a big amount of variance based on the reads you have on your opponent. Live is both about good poker math and people reading skills. Every hand played provides information about your opponent, so pay attention to every hand including the hands you are not in. Learning how to accurately gauge your opponents range, finding tells and exploiting them is an ability that not everyone always has naturally but can be learned to an extent over hour spent at the tables. Some people are just born with amazing reading abilities so always look for leaks in your game.. A good mixture of math with accurate gauging of an opponents hand range will make you successful.

Last thing for any form of poker is bankroll MANAGEMENT! This is so important.

real is better if you have a lot of money or are already really good. online is better if you do not have a lot of money or want to get better and are not already a pro.

I prefer real to online only because I've played many more years live than online. The first months of live casino yes, terrifying. Not only was it scary because it was real money but because everyone is watching you play. I made tons of simple mistakes (incorrect raises, bad table etiquette, showing cards when not allowed to) but because of these I learned to play better. After a while the fear was gone and I looked forward to going to the casino.

Real is better for the experienced since more things come into play. Facial expressions, how they hold chips, cards, and talking at the table. Online is good if you're looking for smaller stakes and freerolls.

Of course, real poker is better than virtual, but there is one big drawback, it is simply impossible to play real poker every day
