hey guys, i wanted to know something. do u get rakeback for everyhand you are dealt, or just hands u see a flop with..

And to answer your question more in depth, both methods are used.

If a site gives you rakeback for every hand you're dealt, its called "dealt rakeback" or the "dealt method". Full Tilt uses this method to calculate your rakeback.

The other way is called "Contributed Rakeback" and that's where they pay rakeback for the hand where you put $ into the pot. Ultimate Bet uses this method for calculating rakeback.

In my personal experience, it doesn't matter all that much. However, I play a lot of short handed games, and I play pretty loose. I've heard a lot of tight players that play full ring say that they prefer the dealt method for calculating rakeback since they fold so many hands.

thanx, curious also. i am new to rakeback. i mostly play .25/.50 limit 6 or 9 handed. i play very tight. using the dealt method of rakeback. i should make more in rakeback than i will with tight played hands correct. i usually play 4tables also

Yeah, but I wouldn't pick a site just based on the type of rakeback they use. The difference isn't that big.
