It's been a real bummer playing there too. Not a lot of options though for an Omaha 8 player in the US these days, so I have to suck it up and play. They stated that the new VIP points system would make up for the loss of RB but so far I have not seen anything that closely resembles that as truth.

Thing that sucks, if I heard correctly, is that affiliates still get RB on your account.

Revolution has 08 traffic. Bovada just opened new 08 tables last week.

RB on Merge was 35% flat. The new VIP program caps out at 35% (requires 2k in rake per month).

Affilites do not get rakeback at all. You've confused terminology somehow. Some affiliates are paid a % of your rake, if they've chosen that type of contract with the site. And yes, those that chose that type of contract, are still being paid, presumably, the same % they originally negotiated.

kahn...yes perhaps I did choose the wrong term there but the fact is that they are still being paid for certain people's play in cash while the actual players are not and that is crappy.

Again, this is false. No affiliate is being paid in "cash." Players earn VIP cash back no matter what. So players are always being paid. And if an affiliate chose a compensation plan in which they were paid based on volume of play, then they too are receiving some pay. (but it's certainly not cash!)
