Rake Back vs VIP

I was thinking about making a small deposit today. And I was wondering how you all feel about RB vs VIP. I have rake back on JS and Aced on the merge network. Are there any VIP programs that any one would recommend that are better then RB?

I am a micro stakes player so I think I already know the answer. But maybe one of you know better.

You are best sticking with rakeback if you are a micro player mate.

It's not just whether you play micros, it's how much volume you play. If you can play 100k hands a month then VIP is going to be better for you even if you play micros.

Generally with the Merge VIP programs you need to earn enough points to make the top 2-3 tiers to even consider VIP being a better deal. If you don't earn enough to make it past the first 1-2 tiers consistently, month to month, then RB will be the better choice.

What? That's about the worst advice ever. To suggest anyone "not worry about rb" is silly. Do you hate free money? It doesn't matter how much or little you play, with RB you're getting a rebate on the rake that you pay. Why would you not bother?

I dont know about that. Even play 0.05 0.10 on 2 tables RB adds up quickly.
