So I was playing the 100,000 dollar new player qaulifier last night and I was wondering about a lot of the players in the tournament. I noticed that the majority of my table was folding every single hand. They weren't sitting out they just kept folding.

I mean it was insta folding everything. They weren't putting any effort into trying anything. It was free chips for the taking. So I kept raising on the button and not one woke up. Now there were people that did play but the people that were playing were puzzled as well.. I tries to chat with them and none of them would talk.

So does anybody know why? I know some people sit out after they get a decent stack size but not one even tried to play a hand.. I'm just curious to know has anybody dealt with this before? All of them just blinded out. I even had a look at other tables and the same thing was happening.

Anyway I finished in 30th but still have more 5 more tickets. So now that I know it's going to be a fold to they blind their selves out fest. I will be stacking my chips early on. Thanks for reading.

So they just don't play one single hand? I just don't see the benefit of it because of how many people were playing, and I'm not talking about 5, or 6, there were more than 20 doing it. Very strange, I've never seen that before. Thanks for the answers.

5 & 6 are notorious for this, am a bit suprised by 20 though, Pooffy, er, whomever, normally doesn't play this way. You might check your notes, you could be confusing 20 with ol 69 who does this all the time.

lol, It is sort of ridiculous on there since I can't make any notes with players or use an hud. I also read on here that it make it easier for colluding and who knows what else. May have to play somewhere else. I will do a lot more reading of this fine place, and try and make a decision from that.

I've seen players on bodog do that when it got near the bubble.. but not the short stacks or the aggros. Perhaps there were connectivity problems? I doubt it was any sort of conspiracy..

I really don't like the anonymous player thing. No notes and a real good chance of collusion. Usually at other sites, if I see something i might think is collusion, I make note of who is playing with who. Then if they show up together and I see my notes, I'm out of there.

Might be true with cash games or SnGs but I like the annoymous players in MTTs. You can still take notes and if you get back to the table with them in the same tourney then the notes still there. I like playing people straight up and not thinking they have such an advantage on me because they are using a tracking software.

Yeah I should've did I a little more investigating on bovada. You guys are all correct you can take notes.. And I think it was silly of me to even post my op because I mean really, if they are folding then what should I be doing all the time? I mean I did pick up on it after a min, but it was just odd. Because they wouldn't call anything.

Anyways I'll be playing one tonight so I'll see how that goes. I read some strategy on here about thinking every table is a sng table, and it really is helping me. I'm decent at sng's so I'm going to try and use that mind set.
I recently got an email saying I won 3 sng's and I'll be put in a drawing for the king of the felt heads up promotion. Thanks for the answers guys. Much aprreciated!
