I found PSchipsource that says I can sell 1 million play chips for 10$. Does anyone have experience with this or know whether it is for real?

1. How do you transfer the play money and get real money?
2. How do you know you won't get cheated?

i think theres a thread about this somewhere already.

but i found a place before that did 16$ per 1M playchips for stars, and im pretty sure that PSchipsource is a legit site since ive heard the name a couple times around here. good thing is its only play chips. so its 0 risk.

try it out and let me know. gl with the $

I don't know about that specific site, but I have done it and it works. I thought $16 was the resell price. I've talked to pokerstars support and they say its allowed you just can't discuss trades at their tables.

How its done: buyer is sitting at a playmoney table, you click on them and transfer the playmoney after talking to them on a messenger service. Once they get it they send you cash. Sure you have to trust them, but their name would be trashed if they didn't follow through. What do you have to lose anyway, its just playmoney.

I also found this site not but a few days ago and I am currently working my chips up so that I can hopefully sell them and get a bankroll going.
1) I think if you sit at a play money table with a representative from their website you can right mouse click on them and the option "transfer play chips" comes up.
2)As for this, I guess you don't know, but they are a big site and I have heard good results from others so I personally would trust them.

What else are you gonna do with them? If you made 1 mil once, you should be able to do it again.

I agree, makes no sense. Any site will give you a thou or two for free and refill you if you lose. But what the heck, if somebody wants to buy, I'd sell!

they buy them for 10 bux then resell them for 15-plus. yeah, i also recall while back u could sell them for 15-16 from the getgo (theyd resell them then for 20 and up)

as to why anyone would pay for playchips? obviously theres (still) a (resale) market for them. we should only be so lucky we can sell playchips for realmoney. and yes the site mentioned above from what ive heard from several diff ppl is legit.

I think there is a market for play chips because most people don't have the patience it takes to turn the thousand or so PokerStars gives you for free into a couple hundred grand it takes to regularly play in the "serious" higher stakes play money poker games PokerStars runs. Either way, I am happily toiling away at the lower limit play money games so i can sell my play money chips for enough money to toil away at the micro limit games.

pokerstars is the only online site where, if ur good enough to accumulate playchips, u know u can create a realmoney bankroll. that IMHO is pretty significant, esp nowadays post-UIGEA.

Seriously, if you can get real money for unloading play money chips then go for it. Seems like no real risk there. My question is why someone is trying to acquire so many play money chips....

Sounds like a bit of a con really and besides it is stupid! Why?

Play chips are not as good as money and generally ain't worth anything!

I would never spend $10 on 1 million play chips lol.

You could put that money to something so much better. ;)
