Hello community - I have been experiencing something odd on ACR recently - related to the number of big blinds display for your chips.
Within the last couple months ACR updated to allow players to see their chip count in big blinds. It is a nice "optional" feature in my opinion.

The last couple days I have noticed - a discrepancy in chip count vs # of bb count. What is odd is the change in bb count with large chip stacks compared to small chip stacks is not equal. I.E. a player with a 150 bb chip stack will "lose" say 5 bb after a leve change - whereas a smaller chip stack - something like 40bb - will only lose 2 bb from their bb tally.
Looking at the chip stack in chips - they are the same - but the bb view is different, seems inaccurate.

Before I submit a bug report to ACR - I'd like to ask for community input on this to make sure I am not overlooking anything. Their might be something I'm missing here - that is the logical reason for me thinking the display is reading number of big blinds incorrectly, or not tallying number of big blinds correctly after a hand is over.

Important point.
This is not a bash on ACR - ACR is rigged, ACR is the worst thread.
Jump on over to the rigged or suckout/bad beat threads if you want to comment about your opinion on ACR.

I'm also copying the link of this thread into the official ACR thread so ACR Rep can take a look at this oddity.

Hand number one, Daily Special 8k I won the hand collecting 12.6 bb for a total of 160.78 bb as shown in the image with the pocket 88s.
The start of the very next hand I now have only 153.66bb. Upon review of the start/end/start of those two hands - their was a level change.
The level changed from 550/1100 to 575/1150 - the antes are insignificant for these points.
This level change would not account for the loss of 7bb from my chip stack.

If you compare the two images - the one with me holding pocket 88s and the
next image where the antes are being - anted, you will notice - all the larger stacks lose more big blind amount - than the smaller stacks. This is very odd.
Larger stacks
My chip count in bb - end previous hand 160.78 - start of next hand 153.66 - minus 7
Bigmama2018 - end previous hand 223.96 - start of next hand 214.09 - minus 7
casino_pimp - end previous hand 166.69 - start of next hand 159.44 - minus 7

Smaller stacks
HardlyAA - end previous hand 34.83 - start of next hand 33.32 - minus 1
LaTayun - end previous hand 43.92 - start of next hand 42.01 - minus 2
Virginriver - end previous hand 37.4 - start of next hand 35.64 - minus 1.8

I have also included images of the same hands - with chip counts. So you can clearly see the chip counts are not changing - however it appears the number of big blinds display is not accurate reflecting the larger stacks. Or some kind of weird bug that makes the larger stacks get reduced in bb - when a level changes - but this does not make sense, because - I have also witnessed this oddity when a level change does not occur.

Disregard the last attached image. It is another hand where the same thing happens - but the upload will only allow 5 attachments - and I have no clue how to remove the attachment once it has been uploaded - The 6th image is needed for comparison.

Thanks for any and all input - related to this oddity.

I'm not sure if it's what your asking but I think it's the amount of chips you have. An example would be blinds are 5-10. I have a thousand chips so 100bb's another player has 15 so 1.5 bb's. The next level is 10-20 so my chip stack is now 50 bb's while the small stack has .75 so it seems like I lost 50 bb's and he only lost
.75. But it's all relative to our individual stacks. I'm not sure if that's what you were referring to so sorry if my answer seems off base.

Yes - you are right - however I'm counting the exact number of big blinds. It is not accurate.
I have 100 bb at 1/2 so 200 chips - and you have 50bb - 100 chips.
When the blind level increase to 3/5 I will now have 40bb and you will have 20bb.
Our stacks reduce by the same divisible number.

What is actually happening is the bb count for larger stacks is reducing by a greater number than the smaller stacks, but this is only reflected in the big blind 'view' - not really in the chip stacks.

Secondly - this is not happening ONLY when there is a level change

Attached is 2 more images reflecting this same inaccurate bb reduction - when there is not a level change.

My stack went from 130.75 to 117.1 - minus 13bb
themaster335 stack went from 51.5 to 46.05 - minus 4bb
Kinguno stack went from 120.03 to 106.49 minus 13bb
thQuenQ stack went from 51.6 to 46.14 minus 4bb

this is not correct.

It is odd. I am going to report this as ACR Rep suggested. Thanks for taking a whack at it.

ACR bb display

Has anyone else had a problem with this?

It seems to have been almost a year and this is still a problem. I see it happening to me all of the time.
