PS Rewards vs FTP Edge

So I have done some searching through the forum, read a great deal on the pstars rewards system but havn't found much regarding the ftp edge.

General consesus and I'm starting to thinking however that perhaps the reward system on pokerstars is much better than the FTP Edge. Only realized over the weekend all of the VIP tournies that are around for the PS rewards (and that you can play in the lower level one's as well, basically a silver can play in a chromestar freeroll). On FTP the most I see re the edge games specific to your level are the Bronze and if you are above the Bronze Edge then you can't play in it.

Anyhow just thought I would get some opinions, and perhaps I am missing some information (will probably do some searching on the FTP site this evening re their system, I only really ever known it to provide a rakeback sort of situation).

Main reason I'm inquiring is that as you may know I am currently grinding the micro stakes (have a platinum edge on ftp, but that is going to drop off soon because it was mainly due to a two week stretch of gaining a lot of points back about three months ago which lost me a tone of money TBH). So given I'm going to be dropping down in edge status I think my weekly payout is going to shrink a great deal (been almost 4 bucks for the last couple of weeks) and starting to think i might be better off taking my 2nl grind to pstars and raking the fpp's which I can then use for attempts at the 11T$ tickets (especially as I am closing in on silverstar because of zoom nl grinds there this month as well).

So what does everyone think, and more especially in regards to perhaps once I move up through the limits to 5nl and 10nl then maybe it would be better to get the edge status back up. I kinda like the edge, however the running total is a bit of a pain instead of the monthly like on pstars.

Anyhow all opinions and/or additional information suggestions greatly welcome.

Anyone? I know both these sites are not US-friendly but I'm sure there must be someone who would have some input regarding? Perhaps my question is too vague or I should provide some info myself on what I do know, have had a bunch of views with no comments at all so just thought I would bump per this to see if any responses for those who currently grind either pstars or ftp.

Yes I had actually been reading through that as it was going on, but didn't have anything mentioned regarding their reward systems as such. The website link you provided was great though, had a look at it last night and for a number of reasons (lower rake for micros being one) I should probably be doing my grinding on stars.

I like the FTP Edge than the PS rewards. If you have minimum bronze in edge you can play some nice tournament. The only bad thing is that the last for only one week.
