Hello,

Found this video on youtube :
.

Do you actually think that casinos are using marked cards to make players lose there? I'm very frightened because i have doubts that they use that.

Same as this video with x-ray video camera? What is this:

It seems that casino can see through regular playing cards? Should i play cash games in casino ?

Bro the scams are obvious. Hold'em has a wicked plateau. The rake is revenue based which means they take money as profit from as much as you put in not what you profit. The rake is an insane percentages based high frequency 10%. High frequency means it more like a 34% simple percentage of all winnings IF YOU win. Also the video is noncredible.

This is the second post about these people that you are trying to scare us with. If you read about the company at all, they develop equipment for magicians that are used in illusions. This stuff is not used at casinos or anywhere else outside of a theater or TV show.

You can't lose money if your running a Casino, unless you're Donald Trump. In saying that why would a casino risk the dollars it's making on rake to make a certain player win? And most casinos are controlled by Gaming commission's. None would risk their license to cheat

i absolutely agree. they make too much money other ways to cheat at poker. the buy ins usually pay the people that win anyway so theres no reason for them to cheat. they still take there rake and thats where all there money comes from. there are alot of people out there that try to create scams like that.

That video seems like complete b.s. I don't know what a casino would have to gain by making certain players win or lose. Their making their money no matter who wins so I don't think they really care either way. The video just seems like a random guy throwing marked cards on a game table no proof it's a casino or casino playing cards. Definite trash!! I'd worry more about the slots lol.

The cards and table are real. A company makes them for magicians, illusions, theatre, TV, etc. The OP is just trying to get our hackles up over it. This is his second post about this and he included another video from the same company.

The hell they don't. I got cheated at blackjack at a strip casino. I won't name it, but if you're ever cruising the 'Vegas strip and see a casino with a tower that looks like it's reaching for the stratosphere, trust me on this: you do not want to play Blackjack there.

This was the mid-'90s and I was playing early in the morning. I was winning pretty good when this old guy plopped down when the cards got good and he stayed until they went bad. I was running pretty good, and figured it was just a coincidence. Happened a second time, and it was obvious they were sending in the anchor men to use up cards. I was still running good despite that. Next, the dealer was relieved way before his session was up. I made a few small bets, and lost a good sized one to this new dealer. I picked up my chips, and he asked if I "had enough". I told the SoB that I liked all my cards off the top of the deck, thank you so very much. This new dealer was dealing seconds and wasn't nearly so good at it as some card magicians I've known and seen perform. Never went back there.

Casinos might cheat like that, but no way would they ever use a gaffed deck like the one in the videos. You're more likely to see that in some dodgy private home games. Casinos aren't going to leave material evidence of cheating lying around. You may not like how your dealer holds the deck, or how he deals the cards, but this isn't material evidence that would hold up in any court.

Not that Poker cheating doesn't happen, pretty sure it does, such as collusion. You could possibly have a corrupt dealer working with a cheat to relieve a big money player of a bundle, though it's unlikely. If caught, that would mean some serious jail time. The house makes all its money from rake or seat rent, and so has an interest in seeing that collusion isn't occurring. Keeping the games clean is in their best interest.

Finally, more rake isn't better.

I'm pretty sure those cards weren't coming off the top, and while anchor men isn't exactly cheating, it does serve to increase the house's edge. Here's the deal: I don't have to play there.
