There are a couple reasons for each.

Pluses for multiple sites:
You will be more likely to find the game you want. Especially at some mid-high stakes where the fields start to get smaller and you don't want to play against certain people.
A lot of people are on multiple sites so they can get different bonuses and such from each.
Many people, including a lot on this site, play on multiple sites so they can play all of the forum sponsored games that are put on. Buy-ins and freerolls.

Pluses for single site:
You build up your frequent player points and bonuses quicker. I know a lot of people who try getting to the Supernova status on Pokerstars, because it comes with a ton of benefits, and if you are playing on multiple sites then there is no way you could get in the play at multiple sites.
Build up your player database for that site so you are able to better exploit the players that are at your stakes(if you are jumping from site to site, you are going to get stats on just as many hands overall, different at each site, but you might only have a couple hundred hands on each player, whereas if you played on one site, you would be playing a lot of players over and over so you could have a large database on a bunch of people.

^^ Exactly absoluthamm. Those are the exact reasons I've played solely on bodog for a long time (just recently joined Carbon).

Thank you , I like to mix it up allot (oh no you have notes to copy now lol .. Anyway I like to mix it up and if I'm jumping from room to room I'm gonna get crushed.. OK I am gonna stay at my current place and build my player Data base up at the same time play freerolls with cc on 1 other site .. then when I feel like i got allot of info , oh wait what if I have enough correct bankroll for the next level then i got to build another player data base ? I was thinking of going to the other site to build that player data Base .. This sounds like allot of work ... :(

I play on 25 sites, and counting. That thing with stats, well it runs both ways, others will have your stats too.
I know there are a lot of benefits to playing on one site. Such as PS, or somewhere else, but I just get so many different offers from different sites.

You think if I just only play sit n go's I might be able to build stats on all the players (meaning less amount of players playing sit n gos regularly ?

Hey so when you get to that status do you loose it if you don't play for awhile ? I have to stars on my icon, so if I don't play do I go back to one star or will it always be their .. Meaning if I am super nova and I stop playing will it go back down ? If it doesn't go back down than its really worth getting to higher status big time !!!!!

Yes it goes down, you have to earn it and you have to earn the right to keep it. I'm not sure off the top of my head how long it takes for you not to play before it goes down, but I know a lot of sites do it monthly. I am pretty sure everything with Supernova and Supernova Elite on PokerStars is yearly, but I might be wrong.

Playing on multiple sites lets you take advantage of bonuses and promotions.

However, I am cutting back on the number of sites were I play. Mostly, I am cutting out the smaller sites:

Everleaf
WPEX
and a couple others on the Cake network

I think playing on the bigger sites Pokerstars, Full Tilt, ect. is the best option.

The more the merrier. I belong to 7 on merge using 4 of them most days. Reefer, Carbon, and new FeltStars are required. I use these for badbeat and private tournaments only. Carbon & Reefer have separate twitter FR's that are good. Reefer has Stoners VS Staff with special bounties on Thursday nights. Reefer has other promotions and when used in conjunction with ReeferPeople & PokerTokers extremely cool. I play alot of league games on Merge sites.

Cake Network is by far my favorite and have 6 names there. Big advantage is leaving one site knowing the players and returning to table with different player name. I play alot of low stakes ring at Cake & Doyle and anticiapate funds on PowerPoker soon. Cake is best site there with extra promos and Doyle has extremely cool special bounties every other Monday night and every Wednesday. I find high value here with all day action. Currently concentrating on 10 seat qualifiers into Sundays 125K as well as evening 10K for $10.00 but tons of great MTT at Cake Network. Freerolls are easy and that is how I started winning $35. for 4th. I have cashed out without deposting there. 3 sites mention are great for privates.

I use and like Bodog alot for ring and weekly 125K besides privates.

AP/UB are cool sites with only UB needed even though I have 3. Lots of high value MTT and privates. I do not like their ring action there. Badbeat appears to be good but have not venture there yet. Currently they have very good special in Poker2Nite daily qualifiers with top 100 advancing to Sundays final good for two 14K WSOP seats. Qualifiers are very easy with the most stupidity anywhere.

FullTilt is down on my list and only use for privates.

Between these my schedule is full and geared toward 6 digets yearly. I belong to at least another 25 sites but was banded by most of them a few years back when forced to. If one can join I highly recommend PokerTime and Titan. Never join a poker site without going through someone for added bonuses.

Thanks so much . I will check out cake network.

Also How do you go threw someone for promotions?

I have accounts on cakepoker and a few other but I deleted the down loads and I forgot what emails I used for them (not my current email)

So How can I retrieve the name and passwords ?
Thanks for your time.. oh and why where you banned ??

I play on multiple site because I get wasn't getting rakeback on Full Tilt. I find a pro for one or two sites good because if you're doing bad at one site you can switch, get a new feel for the game.
Another pro is you learn the cards. On Full tilt you see a lot of flushes and straights. Not to mention rags winning with runner, runner hitting two outers. On Ultimate if you have a solid pair AA,KK you most likely will win the pot. Each site card are manipulated different and you can learn the pattern and almost perdict the cards.
A con is if you have too many sites you never get a good rakeback. $2 or $3 here and such. Nothing to make it worthwhile.
The smaller sites might be a little softer and easier to win in.:D
Less people playing a better chance of cashing.
Just a few ideas.

yeah i reg to 40+ sites

i build up a small br on 20+ sites but i rarely play on those sites and i just dont know what to do with the small br because they dont offer as much in gameplay (mtt's cashgames, sng) as the big sites (FT PS)
(mostly i cash the money out when i have like 50 bucks)

i mainly play on PS and FT

I wasn't getting rakeback on FT either until just the other day. I emailed FullTilt about getting rakeback and they told me that their preferred rakeback site was rakebackpros.com and you could do it with an existing account. Granted it completely depends on if/who your account is linked to to begin with, but I would give it a try.

I only play on FT. I used to play around 5 different sites. Then I noticed I was far more successful on FT than I was on other sites. Since I started to play FT exclusively and focused my efforts on larger field MTTs my ROI has doubled. For me it just made more sense to play exclusively at the site that I consistently win on.
