I'm working up to playing more sit n go tourneys and MTTs, but the mainstay of my BR building has been freerolls.

I made over $15 playing the old Full Tilt daily free spin n go, each taking about 5 mins to finish and the rest of my $55 has been from placing in the regular promotional ticket tournaments from 888, including the current Dream Ticket. Whilst the blind pattern is insane leading to more shoves than a game of shinty, the prizes are actually not bad. Thursday I reached the last 120 or so and got $3.60 for an hour's play. Maybe not as good as getting a job, but better than playing an hour towards a FR with only $10 split 20 ways and reasonable practice for various poker situations.

Now, I know I'm never getting rich from FRs, but does anyone else know any that are similarly worth the time investment?

Think its impossible to make some serious profit without decent bankroll and skill ofc. I won 60$ few days ago on FR and it was gone in next few hours... not to mention bad beats when i switched to cash tables. Ofc i got tilted and now again my BR is 0... so im just playing poker cause i like the game but as more i play i cant distinct poker from online slots.

Freerolls are the most tilting thing in poker, imo... which is odd, because I'm risking $0. :p

You are right that you won't get "rich" from freerolls, but they are a good way to supplement your bankroll.
I love the variety of freerolls on 888, there are so many. The ones like Gold Rush, Vegas Rush and Live the Dream all have ridiculous blind structures and hyper turbo speeds, but as you say the payouts are great for freerolls, usually starting at $0.30 (which is almost final table money in a lot of freerolls).
If you use that $ and play enough to level up on 888 there are many more freerolls for various levels as well as "level up" tickets, and once you reach the levels you stay there even if you stop playing cash games or tourneys (unlike PS where you drop back down).
I've been making an extra $50 a month on these freerolls since I started tracking how much I'm making on them, and that's without any FT's in the bigger games. I think the best I've done is a bit over $13 for about 50th in a gold Rush tourney, just slightly more than I got for finishing 1st in the $200 freeroll.
I just use this money to play .01/.02 SNAP and I'm winning a bit more than I lose on that so the Freeroll $ boosts my overall winnings.

The CC freerolls have always been a favorite.
Just running deep in a dozen or so of these each year gets a good profit to turn around in other events.

I'm looking forward to being eligible - this is post 15 :) See you at the tables later

Thanks for the encouragement - if I can get to half of that (considering other commitments) I'll be happy for now

I didn't know that about the 888 level sysem, really useful to know :) Thanks

Approximately 40 last month to win that $2500, but that was a lucky run.

The various level tourneys can really help, even the small ones add up. They are also really east to cash in as they pay about 1/3 of the field. You also get a ticket for a $500 freeroll every time you complete a level, although these play more like a regular tourney as it only pays about 15% of the field.

Here's the various level freerolls:

Level 5+
$50 PLO (1 per day)
$100 NLH (2 per day)

Level 10+
$200 NLH (2 per day)

Level 20+
$500 NLH (1 per day)

Level 30+
$1000 NLH (3 per week)

Level 40+
$2000 NLH (1 per week)

Level 50+
$3000 NLH (1 per week)

Level 60+
$7000 NLH (1 per month)

Level 70+
$10000 NLH (1 per month)

There's also the CC freeroll every week and a few others like the iGoodies freeroll.

If anybody wants to take a look, Full Flush Poker has a lot of freerolls that are well worth playing. The biggest one is $200 and they all run everyday. The site can be downloaded from here.and if I'm not mistaken a $100 freeroll that runs every Monday night at 8pm comes with the download. At least it did when I first started playing there. Besides the freerolls, there are a lot of good MTTs with low buy ins and good pay outs. and there are a lot of micro stakes cash games. The site is trying to make a go of it, but what they need most is players, And that is something I just can;t understand. US players say that we don't have many sites to pick from, but here is one with a lot to offer but they don't give it a try. That is way out of my understanding. And I wish someone would take a minute and explain to me how that can make any sense at all. Or show me something that will make me believe FF is not a safe place to play. Also show me something that is said about FF that is not said about every poker site I have ever known. Anyway I don't see how anybody can go wrong when there is so much there that's free.

The Pokerstars Open League is also a great profitable league and you dont need to be an excelent player, just you need to use some tactics and have some perseverence. Besides, it shows you statistics.

I can only play at US-facing card rooms, but I'm digging the On-Demand freerolls at ACR. Starting as soon as 270 are registered and 3 levels of late reg, with a top prize of $2.50, its not a bad deal at all.

Especially trying to build out of nothing, I feel as long as I stay patient and play my game, I'll be able to build up a small roll to play micro SNG and MTT before too long.

I'm just returning to the poker scene, so I definitely don't know everything that's out there, but I feel these at least give me a chance to get started again.

The gains are greater than the risk, assuming you have tons of free time

Nice profit congrats :). Anyway, pokerstars have the best freerols payout system I think. Is true Premier Leaugue have the best top 10 payout but don't forget about Open Skill either....nice amount if you win this and you made those 20 VPP's in the past month (1500$ sound's good enough for freerolls :D)

Great result in only one month! You must have gotten several FTs I suppose. And to play this league you need to have any ticket or password?;)

Hello. Nice to meet you.

If you don't mind, it is the article several months ago,
but, please refer to it.
It is the thread which I wrote in the past.

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/tournament-a-condition-good-295971/

In my opinion
(about PS Premier League)
I played many times, but take time very much.
Besides, a opponents is strong. Participation includes the condition, too.
With my ability, $ 20 are still limits.

It is difficult to beat a good player.
However, I think that it is not so difficult to find a good tournament.

I got $350 in two times of tournaments.1st and 2nd.(2 h 45 min+3 h 50 min)
This tournament was positive, and there were only three or four times at all,
but I was able to participate twice.
There may be a chance if held like the next year
if you have a participation right.
(The conditions such as the participation numbers of people will turn reliable.)

On the other hand, I access the site(BankrollMob) steadily every day and many times a day・・・.
There is a lot of what I do not know to me still more either.
I hope I can be of service. Let's wait patiently.:)

Thank you for reading.

the frerrols allows to play without being forced to make a deposit but does not allow to make big gain share some exeption. It's known for winning big bet must gros.c'est anyway quite frustrating to play minimum 2 or 3 hours for a penny when other fortunes wins in a minute .

That is the right thing, but it's exactly impossible to win on regular basis if you don't have necessary skills. And only if you gain the skills you can build your bankroll without a deposit, as you convert your skills into money. In this way the growing bankroll show you that you move in right way.

I'd say your best bet would be to enter "Private" tourneys as those have smaller fields and better prizes, such as the CC held tourneys
