I know from reading here that you need 2k FPP to hold a private 5.50 tournament at pokerstars. Does anyone know the rules for lower buyin or rebuy tournaments? If not, I guess I can just ask support. I've seen a low buyin rebuy in the private games and that looked like fun.

Ok, thank you. I was just wondering what was possible with the CC buyins on hiatus.

With the money-added hiatus on PokerStars, we still have daily $5.50 games.

I'll attach a screencap showing what options I have available when I create a private tournament. The stuff under the drop down menus are the date, time and password fields.

Actually I think private individuals can get these as well, not just affilliates. However to get these would require the requestor to contact PS support and you have to add $$ to the game as well (don't know the minimum add off the top of my head).

Just to clarify - you don't need a current balance of 2K FPP, you just need to have accumulated that much in the past - they do allow you to do it with less if you ask them nicely.

They didn't let me (and I asked nicely :(). I had accumulated a little over 1800 FPPs, and they said basically, "Come back when you've reached 2k."

Ah well, they did let me - maybe it was my cute avatar that swung it?

Must have been a West Ham fan on the other end. And they must have somehow known I call it "soccer", and were highly offended.

What about freerolls? Say I wanted to have a 10$ freeroll for posters on my blog....could I do this, or do you have to be an affiliate which I could do also?

edit: I am able to make the private tournies on PokerStars also

LDO someone you banned in the past working at Stars. I'm sure there's a lot of them.

That would be one short event :D

Ha Ha, well over my whole time posting if I counted all the posters it would be close to if not more than 2 tables, but the point was to bring more there :p

I had not accumulated 2k fpp but had gotten permission to host private tournies.

My avatar on PS is that of Metallica's "Master of puppets" album cover, I guess they thought I was religious and granted a "Man of the cloth";) permission.

I was wondering what that was during that 4.40 sng challenge, since when its sized down it looks like a pixelated picture dut to the crosses making a visual effect.

I think the minimum for money added is $50.
