Power Poker Closed to US - Moved us to Colt

Got this email last night. Power had stopped taking new US players a while ago. At least they didn't abscond with our funds. Pickings are getting slimmer and slimmer for us.

I had rakeback at Power. Haven't checked yet whether that was transferred. Guessing not.

Thanks for the heads up. I just looked and saw that I got that email also. Do you or anyone else have any experience with info on colt poker ?

I got the same email. Since I had rakeback at Power and already had a Colt account, I decided to contact them.

Colt support told me I still have rake back on the one account and can continue to play on both accounts.

Telling me I can continue to use both accounts seemed odd to me

Just another Cake Skin next OFC is there. Oh and When I emailed support they responded with in 20 minutes.

Colt poker is where the OFC being held on March 24th and 25th.

Got the email today and my 4bucks got transferred to colt poker. I see cardschat has a $100 freeroll there Saturday at 2pm. I'll search a thread about it and hopefully I can play it.

Awesome, looking forward to the OFC. I miss those events and haven't played OFC since pre BF. Wow 11 months have gone by now. Wish FTP balance transferred to my bank account as quick and easy as Power to Colt.

I had a Power Poker account and had made a deposit on 8/09. They move my account to Colt. I made a deposit at Colt and was not allowed to play in the new depositors freeroll as they counted my Poker Poker deposit as my first Colt deposit. What a way to treat new players!

I opened a colt account to play at the ofc last month.
I had rake back on the account. After the ofc was over, they sent an email saying my account was suspended because i had rake back on another cake network account. I email colt and they said that i could open a new account without rake back. I tried to do that and there as difficulty with getting the account set up. Eventually it was set up and the balance at colt and power were transferred. Also the rewards (except for the rake back) were transferred too.
there was a total of over 30 emails by the time every thing was done. almost all were done on the same date and the longest wait for a reply was under 1/2 hour.
it was a pain in the ass, but the customer service was well above what i expect from a poker site

I got this email a couple of weeks ago but haven't done anything about it. My question is, do i have an account there because of the transfer, or can I downoad my new account through CC so you'all get the referral? I haven't done anything about going to the site yet. I don't see a link to Colt at the top, do you have one?
