Hey guys so as you could probably guess from the question im a bit new around here.

How does rake work at 888, is the rake taken out of the pot and therefore is directly applied to your bankroll automatically?

or is it something you have to actually pay (i.e. an owed amount you have to actually go to the cashier to pay), Just reached like 30k hands and afraid i have a huge amount oweing or something.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place?

again please pardon the question

You probably should have asked this in either the Poker Sites or General Poker forum.

Still, now we're here. I think that you might have misunderstood the term 'rake'. Rake is what the poker site takes from the pot as a 'fee' for running the games. Therefore it is not applied to your bankroll at all.

Most sites operate a rake-back scheme where, at the end of a period for example a month, a percentage of the 'rake' you have contributed is paid into your BR. The period and percentage might vary from site to site.

Hope this helps.
