Creature of leisure
Silver Level
Tonight the man who "hates card games" was fiddling with some of the chips I recently bought, and to my great surprise, he suggested that we play a bit. (Miracles do happen!)
We sat down with cards and chips at the dining room table and each bought in for $10, and we played .25/.50 limit for a couple of hours heads-up. He donned silly sunglasses, played terribly, usually moaned when he had a bad hand and "oohed" when he had a good one, but by the end of our session he'd caught on enough -- and sucked out enough -- that he took me for $1.30. (In my defense, since it was his first time I didn't exactly bring my "A" game.)
God help me if he ever wants to go to a casino.
