This is true. PokerStars, as well as other poker rooms do not like the use of VPN. However, for residents of some countries, exceptions are possible, because Due to the peculiarities of the work of Internet providers, access to some entertainment resources may be restricted. In this case, you need to contact the technical support of the poker room and clarify the situation. You can be allowed individual access through VPN. But, again, this is only for players in some countries, and only after consulting technical support. If you start using VPN without the permission of the room - then it is very likely to get the ban of your account.

I live in Kazakhstan. My provider blocks the PokerStars site, and until I solved this problem, there are certainly lightweight versions of the site, but there is not complete information. Use a paid VPN, only for one site, not cost-effective.

Write them a letter and find out how they will react to this.

No...

I once tried to play on PokerStar using VPN, and I realized that there's a problem when entering/withdrawal of funds. But the most important thing is that using different proxies you will question the security of your account. You can be blocked...

It depends on the site. I used VPN on chico they asked me why I use it then I explained my IPS provider blocks them they understand and allowed my cashout. Redkings's support is offered to play using VPN on their site. Pokerstars I don't know. You should ask them.

For PokerStars, it's best not to use the VPN, because you can block your account and you can not play or will need to contact the support team!

Would you need to report to PokerStars when you go abroad and use VPN for some time to play on your account? Even though withdrawals are made from the home country? Or can they block your account as well in that case?
