Pokerstars verification taking way too long

Guys,

please share your experience with security verification @ PS...made a withdrawal request on 3/31 and after 72hrs passed, checked with online support, who asked me to send in docs. I sent approximately a day later, and local time here is 4/6...

Meanwhile, funds are frozen there. Should I keep waiting, take to twitter, etc.?

Any advice would be much appreciated... this is really quite ridiculous

I also passed the verification for pokerstars. In my case, the verification procedure lasted about 10-12 days. You may need to submit additional documents. Be patient and wait.

from what I have heard so far it heavily depends on the case how long an approval process takes. In my case they did it very fast but for some of my friends it worked pretty bad...

Just get a beer and swear to win so much that partypoker regrets to have approved your account at all. ;-)

10-12 days...ok if they had just said that up front instead of 72hrs it’d be a different matter...all about managing expectations...

Once my PS account went out frozen. It happened on Friday, I sent immediately an e-mail to PS support, and another one on Saturday, they replied on Sunday, so I was able to verify my account on Monday morning, and on the same day my account was unfrozen! But I suppose, it is matter of the particular case, and so on ...

Lucky you! Feels like every time i ask support on the status they throw me back to the bottom of the queue...imma just not touch PS until I receive an email from their security team...

The process of verification of my account on PokerStars lasted about two weeks. This is a normal procedure.

There’s another thread where a helpful member suggested taking to twitter and facebook...going the twitter route and will update here if any results.

It’s a Festivus miracle. Created twitter account, started to follow starssupport, went back to online support to re-confirm the dates (cash out request, doc submission date, etc.) and guess what the rep said?

“You will receive an email response within 30-40min.”

Rec’d neteller notification within 6 minutes of convo ending, and I can finally put this to rest. FWIW, to the CC member above me, still recommend you bring your case to their attention via facebook/twitter as your case is really too much, and you need air this publicly to get it resolved ASAP...gl...

Verification takes long maybe because in some cases (I'm not talking about yours) they have to do more investigation for the person connected with the ps account . To see if he has/had double account , the game history , his profile .

Usually it doesn't take too long , but if they have susspissions it will take many days/weeks

Where can I send them an email? It's so hard to get in contact with someone that actually responds to you that isn't AI.
Also they freeze your money so you can't take it out, but it's available if you want to gamble with it. It's outrageous!!!!

Welcome to the forum. You are replying to a post from 2019, so its highly unlikely, Dejange will read this and give you an answer. As for your issue account verification is a standard process followed by all poker sites in order to combat money laundering and other types of fraud. If you have already send the requested documents, then just wait for them to be processed. For most people this only has to be done once, so next time, you want to withdraw, it will likely go smoothly. In my experience PokerStars usually pay within one working day, which is extremely fast

If you cant control your gambling habits, its possible to self exclude for a period of time. Then the money will still be there, when account verification is completed.

I've been playing on PokerStars since about 2020, but I haven't received any letters asking for documents. I hope that when it comes time to undergo verification, I will not have any problems and this procedure will not last so long

I've been playing at pokerstars for so many years and I've never been asked for documents to send for identity verification but it was at 888poker when they asked, I sent them all the documents and ended up asking and asking for documents. I ended up tired of it and deleted the 888poker App if you have the same situation I think nothing will help you

I was verified about a year ago. This was already my second verification on PokerStars. I basically passed it without any problems and it lasted about 2-3 days.

An important detail in pokerstars: the payment system that you use for depositing and withdrawing funds requires verification every year. Usually it is enough to transfer a small amount to your pokerstars account.
But the most important thing for you to have a good relationship with Pokerstars is to have only one single account. If you have another account for some reason, it is recommended to liquidate it with the help of Pokerstars technical support.
