Hello!
Guys. Recently something terrible happened to me - it's blocking my account on pokerstars :mad:

While I was registered, but the data that there were, first and last name - another man, apparently brought up from the map, which was made a deposit. The card was not mine.

The reason for the lock - wife. She also plays there.

I created a new account, type all the data correctly, made a deposit of $ 20 and when it was $ 50 on my bankroll, they blocked me again :stupido3::motz:

Asked documents - sent,
after 3 days they asked again - fresh pictures - made and sent.

-my question to PS players-
  1. How long is the verification of the documents?
  2. With what interval they reply to messages?
  3. Do I take back, what was lost, because of their "verification".?:confused:

p.s. Sorry for my English, i am from Ukraine

Could you say it again but in a more clear way? Because the translation is confusing.

If you have all the ids and cards from the people involved, and if its your wife and not an other person then I guess Pokerstars wont ban your account. But I am not 100% sure.

This may help you understand why the accounts were blocked https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/2-accounts-played-same-house-311041/

As for response time, that is up to the discretion of the poker site.

Sounds like your wife has been playing poker as much as you or using your bank account to fund her bankroll lol

You are going to need a marriage councilor for that one especially since you've been bard from playing your favorite platform...

partypoker nearly did that to me and my brother once but as we weren't playing from same bankcards and we provided scanned images of our Passports and utility bills in both our names registered to the same address they allowed us to continue playing from the same IP.

Maybe a virtual private network will help each of you setting up a VPN on each machine that joins the network with different IP addresses.

Don't let any one use your bankcard to bankroll them selves lol especially the good woman(Wife).

Stop when the fun stops or when your partner takes the fun from you:eek::eek::eek:

I think this is more or less the same story, Pokerstars hears from EVERY double account they trap down...my brother...my girlfriend...my wife...
I can imagine it's way harder for them to figure it out than to track them down, so you should give them some time and not ask every day again, that doesn't speed up anything...

Rules! There are rules. It is important to study them carefully! And don't make any kind of gag. Be careful!

Well, I was lucky once when they blocked my PS account as everything was fixed up very quickly:

Friday afternoon - I found my account frozen! Sent immediately an e-mail to PS Support.

Saturday afternoon - still no reply! Sent second, this time rather angry e-mail :D

Sunday afternoon - reply from PS Support received! Reason for blocking my account - security measure as my account was accessed from another IP address with correctly input password - ha, ha, ha, ha, what a BS - I am using sometimes the WiFi router from my laptop, sometimes Teltering 4G Hot Spot from my personal Smart Phone, and sometimes from my company's Smart Phone - logically my IP address change according the channel used ... I was requested to verify my account.

Monday morning - I sent all the data and pics to verify my account!

Monday afternoon - my account was unblocked :)

going through a difficult time getting verified in general because of my 3rd world country..but i made a huge post in a different thread about that ("No physical home address" is what its called i think). also dont get physical bank statements or physical utility billss..all in person, smh..

but my girlfriend and i have accounts with pokerstars and im trying hard to get it all sorted..but one part of their response said its fine and that they encourage families to play..which sounds really strange to me, idk...she just ended up asking stars to close her account cause we both didnt want some kind of problem in the long run if i were to cash something big and wanted to withdraw and get banned or w/e..they just said as long as you can prove you are two different people with two different emails then your fine, still kinda strange to me lol..

Are you or were you using a VPN?
If you use a VPN, your IP address will not be your real IP address and if you log into a regularly used poker site when running your VPN, what you experienced with the poker site will happen again.

No, never have been using VPN. As an additional security measure, they added to the traditional sign up with ID & PW - also a Security 6-digit code to input manually upon signing up at Stars :D

Kindly as support.

Closing and opening accounts only creates a mess and will cost you and ps staff time.
Something triggered ps to block your account.

Resolve the blockage with support.

AFAIK multiple people can play from the same address, but some rules apply.

Using VPN without approval upfront from ps may get you in more problems.

pls. keep us informed in why the account was blocked (and how to resolve it).
