Can US Players use PokerStars tournaments for WPT Qualifiers?

Hey, do any of you Americans use PS to attempt to qualify for WPT type events? If so, do you use the play money or something? Any help is appreciated.

You are not allowed to play for real money on PS if you are in the US. Obviously you cannot win an entry to a live tournament with play money...lol.
I am not an American though so i dont know what sites offer satelites to live events in the US.

I don't understand how there are so many Americans representing pokerstars at events.

Perhaps they are Canadians or Americans that live in canada

Americans are not allowed to play at pokerstars on real money tables. so no.. also pokerstars doest not have satties into wpt events . it represents epts. also most americans who qualified via pokerstars to the live games are playing most probably from either mexico or canada
