Pokerstars TimeBank

I've noticed that sometimes the pokerstars time bank will seemingly automatically activate if I don't check fold or bet... Whereas other times, it just auto folds without running down the time bank....

Has anyone else noticed this or know why this happens?

If you don't act, it will always go to the time bank until you have used up your time bank (usually each player is alotted 30-60 seconds in their time bank). Once you've used that up, then it will just fold your hand if you do not act. That's been my experience.

On Stars, "Fast" tables fold before extra time activates. Regular tables auto-activate the extra time.

When I started playing tournaments there, it seemed they auto folded the first hand you missed. Then they started the extra time bank when you missed a second hand.

I've noticed it do the same as the OP stated, folds me out when I have timebank but don't request it...other times it auto activates. Not sure how it works either OP...maybe you have to request at fast tables, auto starts at normal? That would make sense, and I play at both when multitabling ring.

i think in tournaments it activates automatically in your blinds and you have to click on it to activate it in other positions
