Hi guys,

so we're basically just around the corner for the scoop 2012 series.

The first games starts this Sunday, 6th May 11.00 (ET) 4.00 (WET).

The list is huge with like 40 events and I'm planning on playing a few of the low games and a medium along with the "L" $109 main event.

I'm interested in seeing if anyone is actually playing any/many of the games and if so, which levels?

First event is the 6max and I usually like kicking of with the first event but I'm unsure yet, if I don't play that one then it's likely I will be playing the full ring one which is a few hours later.

We can use this thread as the rail thread if you like.

Lets see your lists guys. I'm in for around 10 certains in total and a fair few "maybes".

My list of ones I deffo want to be playing are

Event:

1(6max) or 2(Fullring) Hold'em L: $27.00
3: Hold'em L:$5.50
7:Hold'em L:$7.50
8:Hold'em L:$11.00
11: PL Omaha hi/lo :$27.00
14: Hold'em Anteup: $7.50
15: FL Omaha hi/lo : $27.00
22: Mixed NLHE/PLO: $11.00
25: FL Triple Draw 2-7 $11.00
26: Stud hi/lo $27.00
27: Hold'em $11.00
28: Razz $27.00
31: 8-Game $27.00
38: Horse $27.00
40: Hold'em Main Event $109

Obviously, depending on times and so on, I might not be able to make all but there are others I want to enter too (My list could quite easily hit the 30 mark) but I don't want to create and unrealistic list as there are so many hold'em tournaments which are basically all the same deep stacked tournaments. Of course if I manage to go quite deep in one of them and cash for something quite decent then my list might well grow. I also intend playing a fair sattys into most of the even low tournaments but these are way out of my bankroll but I'm a sucker for promotional tournaments or rather more that I like being involved in the "big ones"

Scoop starts today,

Not sure if anyone is even playing in any? lol.

IF so, you will defiantly see me in event 2. Still considering Event 1, time is mid afternoon though..kinda a weirdly awkward time for me.

Then again, 3hours late reg..

GL all!

Defo playing:

Event 7, $7.50 HU. Wish it wasn't such a jump to the Mid stakes HU though, I'd happily play a $27 HU MTT

Event 14 Ante up $7.50. I have half an hour to get home from college (about 5 miles) and reg for this lol. Be interesting to see if I can get in before late reg lol.

I'll also play a few $27 BIs, not 100% decided on the 1st one today

Depending on how I do on the other events I might play the main event, if I do bad in the other events my BR will be in pretty unhealthy shape lol.

Not going great in event 3 $5.50..Still deep in comparison to the blinds but under average.

Managed to draw Donald + Eifffel at my table so going to be tough I guess lol.

Anyone else in?

Lol pretty sick table, I've only ever played one PS pro. Who is Eifffel? You should be able to own him whoever he is since you have position on him ;)

How much it cost you so far?

I got moved! Suppose that is not a bad thing. Efffel is a high stakes MTT player. I "assume" he's good ;) He been playing all scoops highs etc.

Cost me $15.00 so far.

I elected to just late reg 55minutes, buy-in, rebuy- and add-on and once the "new" blind levels started at 15/30 I had a shed load of blnds to play with..didn't wanna get into a rebuy of $5.00 a pop because my BR is crippled enough + I tilt shove any two lol .. imo playing with 12k stack with over 200blinds was more than enough "play" I didn'tcare avg was 20k as it is meaningless imo at the minute.

You in ?

Nah I gave this one a miss, re-buys haven't gone well in the past and at $5 a re-buy I feared how much it would end up costing me lol, I hate not re-buying when I bust and that's like $10 a time. Plus playing deep stacks sucks, it just gives all the cash game players shot taking/high stakes MTT players in SCOOP a chance to crush me lol.

Also I have college tomorrow so couldn't play day two and I'd be up late tonight

Watching FT of $27 event 1 now and someone just limped 33 with 20bb (+antes in play). You'd think someone who managed to get HU in this event would actually have a slight idea how to play.

Just SSed him and this guy has like a 25% ROI and is up ~$173000, amazed that he would play the hand like that.

I did alright in the $27 yesterday, first event and cashed for about $100, probably gonna play the HU event tomorrow, hope it's not 2 day (doesn't look like it is) since I'll be on my way back from Alton Towers (thinly veiled brag).
