Win up to $5,000 in cash every day

From June 1-10, you can win up to $5,000 in cash each day just by completing a daily poker puzzle!

Each day we’ll present you with a new puzzle Pyramid puzzle in your Challenge Window. Each puzzle will have 23 pieces, each one representing a pyramid block.

How to complete your Pyramid puzzle

To complete the daily puzzle and win a guaranteed cash prize just play real money Hold’em cash or Zoom games at minimum stakes of $0.05/$0.10 and win your hand post flop with a pair of kings or above.

Each time you win a hand where the strength of your hand matches or is higher than the represented combination in your Pyramid row, you will collect one puzzle piece for that row and one piece for each row below that. By winning your hand with a higher hand strength you will collect more pieces.

For example: You hit a flush post-flop, and win the hand. You will collect the ‘flush and Higher’ block piece (Pyramid top piece) and one block piece from each of the rows below that piece in the Pyramid (one ‘Straight and higher’ block piece, one ‘Three of a Kind and higher’ block piece, one ‘Two Pairs and higher’ block piece, one ‘Pair of Kings and higher’ block piece). The Pyramid completion will look as presented on the image below, where one block piece of each row was collected.

As soon as you have completed your full puzzle you will be credited with an instant cash reward. Rewards are allocated randomly - ranging from $1-$5,000 in cash.

Please Note: Heads-Up and Fixed Limit games are excluded.

Remember: cash rewards will be yours to keep, with no restrictions, and no earning requirements; so play every day for your chance to win up to $5,000.

Pyramid puzzle - what you can win

Cash prizes are rewarded randomly and the chances of getting each cash prize are as follows:

As always with these kind of promotions, only worth it if its your normal game. If you normally play 1c/2c, probably not worth it as you will usually need up losing more than the bonus.

Got a $2 prize on the first day. Was headed for a loss, but this hand saved me:
You have to complete the whole pyramid to get the prize?

It seems like a lot of work to me; unless you are already playing those limits.

Yes, you have to complete the whole pyramid, but if you get the bigger hands it takes out the lower pieces too.

It took me maybe less than 10 minutes to finish.

So what's the point of getting the lower hands; you have to get the top hand for the prize anyway?

That's kind of pointless if that's the case, so instead of a Pyramid which has 3 points use a circle lol

Look at the image in the first post. You only need one flush (or better) to complete the top level.

If you get a flush it will take out a block on each level below. Then you need a straight to complete the second level (which will also remove blocks from the lower levels too.

Or you can get 4 flushes, then a combination of 2 pair and kings to complete it too. Or other combinations.

Just play for a couple of minutes and you'll see you will complete the pyramid without even trying.

Just checked mine and I have the highest pieces, i.e. Flush but its still showing I need the lower pieces
I played 200 hands of Zoom

Yeah, you need a set and 2 pairs of kings to finish.

A flush takes out 5 pieces (one on each level)

ok thanks, I'll try and finish it off. Prob a good idea to punish the flush chasers

Seems really fun. Really appreciate the tiny things like this that pokerstars occasionally implement into the client.

Taking a small 2 BI shot at this (I'm normally at the NL2 tables, so not really willing to risk too much).

Got 2$ yesterday. And I was up 1.5 BI, so the shot-taking will continue for a bit.

Yes, well, it's going to make the biggest impact for people who play at NL10. For people who play higher, it's just a few $ bonus money.

Given how stingy Stars is with bonuses and rebate, it's not a bad deal, imo. If you play NL10+, it's going to be about a free 50$ if they play daily.
And who knows if you'll hit the magic 5K$. :D

2 questions:

1. Since you can only observe one random table of zoom at each level, how do you know he won $1500?

2. The prize is revealed on the puzzle card, so how did see the prize won by that player?

1) He probably saw the guy with 2k in his starting stack
2) As you said only the person playing will see the amount won, unless he mentioned in chat that he'd won a dollar :)
