I hope that for a long time only the updates were made worse than it was and it's so interesting to move from league to league and win the players but it does not always work out but it is necessary

The guys in the league are a very simple way to train for free and become better and then play tournaments for serious money, so I think the poker school will be a long time for its participants and will please prizes thanks for understanding

The PSO League will probably be around for as long as the PSO website is around. Why? Because it's a good way of getting people to make a deposit while at the same time teaching them to play good poker. If you never made a deposit at pokerstars you can only advance to High School level which is not bad but in order to advance to the University and Master levels you must have made a deposit at PokerStars anytime in the past.

Is it worth it? If you're serious about playing competitive poker then yes, definitely. The top 300 of the High School level shares a prize pool of $2805 at the end of the month scaled according to position. The top 150 at University level shares a prize pool of $7990 according to position. The top 100 at the Master level shares a prize pool of $15,300 according to position. These prizes are given at the end of every month based on that months League points.

The top prize for High School level is $150. The top prize for Master level is $3000. So, people will obviously want to make a deposit of $10 at least at PokerStars to qualify for the upper levels of the league. Also, once people made a deposit and played something other than free-rolls many of them keep on depositing.

So yeah, it will last a while I think.

I want to play in the Masters League, trying hard to qualify. I think that The League will be around for at least this year. They can do other new things to help players learn the game, so who knows.

Yes, that was my second question: if I put deposit, will I able to play masters and university league?
But!
I already put deposit at my account, and I can't play this last two series...
What is the matter?

I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon. The site gets a lot of traffic from people just playing in the league and that's good for business as some of those players will potentially deposit.

You don't immediately qualify for the higher leagues. You have to qualify step by step through elementary and high school. If you make a deposit this month and get in the top 2000 players in the elementary league then you can play high school next month. There is a similar requirement to get promoted to university.

Leagues

Guys like you new leagues I do not really like their updates because in the old leagues you could often go out to the prize zone in each league and now you have reduced the prize zone and few tickets and almost do not get into prizes for a month?

I thought the same thing for months and then I final tabled a tourney last month. I saw how it affected my league standings and read up a bit. I cashed for a total of maybe 20c for the whole month but I was able to crack the top 100 and get a $4 prize (cash prizes awarded to the top 500 players).

Only 99 players get paid in a tourney but if you can finish in the top 15% you qualify with points for the league. If you get within the top 2000 players you go up to High School, which awards bigger cash prizes for the top 300 players

The real money in the leagues are made when you qualify for University and Masters. A Master's tourney is only $20 cash prizes but a min cash in the league standings can get you $50 (max being a massive $3000).

Plus if you can get to the bubble the poker becomes more sane and you're able to practice some tricks here and there. The level of play also improves once you go up to High School.

More about the payouts for the league standings can be found here.

PS - today I cracked the top 300 in High School for the min cash and am aiming to crack top 150.

It's new you can see at least for one month. It's complicated by all the players in the tournament

True. And you get good hands cracked very frequently playing the league. But that is why they have a 52 game limit for the end of the month and the top 15 placings you manage from those . So the monthly league standings reward consistency.

I believe it really is an awesome training ground. It really tested me psychologically over the long term because I had some really bad suckouts. But I stuck to ABC poker and ranked 67 in the league smh.

the league only started 3 months ago. It's going to be around for a long time. You say you deposited and couldn't advance to university or masters? You start on elementary and then top 2000 players advance to highschool. top 800 players in highschool that have made a deposit advance to university. If you haven't reached that rank then you won't advance to the next level.
