An awesome idea by James and Joe to host a mini PSPC online imo. The buy-in is 25$ and the structure should be more or less the same as the live version. 8k added to the prize pool and 1k extra for the winner. Any CC members planning on playing this?

Also, since my laptop is being repaired right now, could anyone maybe tell me the starting time and late reg period?

Let’s rail each other in this thread in case one of us has a good run, would love to see someone here run deep. Glgl!

I can't find it in the lobby. Would be an interesting tournament to compete in!

Looks to be a nice tournament but unfortunately out of my average buy-in otherwise it had some freerolls to qualify for this tournament! Or any promotion providing tickets free for players after doing any post or answering any question.

They did run some promotions on the PS twitter account, but they already ended..

If it is only slightly above your average buyin it might be worth taking a shot. There’s no rake and 9k added which makes it a really valuable tourney. Late reg is open till 15:05 ET today, where you can buyin for a nice 50bb stack still.

Made it into day 2 myself as well, almost 1.5x the average stack. Here’s to some run good today!

Ended for me here unfortunately, lost a huge pot in the 3rd hand of play.
Opened with A4 from the button, BB called (50BB deep).
Flop Ad7c4d, pot is 7,4k. I bet 3K, BB raises to 6K, I call.
Turn is a 8s,19.5K pot. BB bets 3.6K, I raise to 13.2K. He shoves.
Blocking pocket 44's here and thinking he would raise pocket 77's a big percentage of the time pre, I call it off. Shows pocket fours and I'm down to 52BB.

After this I won a couple of pots, lost some and stacked someone with Queens against AQ. However, it all ended when the hijack minraises, I 3 bet on the button to 8BB with AKs, after which he jams for a 51BB effective stack. I call and lose the flip against pocket tens.

Had a blast playing this though, and pretty content with the way I played it. Can see that my game has improved since I first started but still got a very long way to go. Keep working and hopefully I'll take an event like this down one day!
