...Not sure if this is the right place for this.

Edit: UGH! I meant to put this in 'General Poker'. Can a mod please move to appropriate spot in forum?

I tried opening pokerstars and I got a popup that says 'Internet Connectivity Problem' and I am unable to open it.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix/get pass this. Thanks.

Actually, this is the right spot for this. :)

As far as the popup...it sounds like your internet connection may be screwy. I'm not sure though. Better get SP on this one.

It seems to go in phases for me. I will have a strong connection most of the time, but then there are days when PS says I am not connected and this will happen over and over that day. Meanwhile, I am still connected to the internet at home and can surf the web and will still have my FT tables up.

I think when I do have problems at PS (and I never have these problems at FT but I play mostly at PS) that is the PS's servers being pretty full.

An Internet Connectivity Problem means PokerStars can't access the Internet.

As with most computer problems, the first thing you try is rebooting.

Next on my list of suspects is a firewall. To access the Internet a program has to get past your firewall. If you installed Norton 360/Internet Security or McAfee or anything like that recently, that is most likely your problem.

If it started randomly today, do a System Restore (Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore).
Restore it to a day or two before the problem started.

Good to see you back. Last I remember, you left us for a woman. :(
And I miss phinding you pictures.

for those of us in canada anyway, the connection probs are originating inon the uk site. it's this server that's messing up. i myself don't know how to contact them maybe someone else out there knows how to do this. i had my service provider shaw ping the site, so we in canada have to go through the uk.
