I have seen a lot of information that pokerstars has returned in some American states, but I still haven't seen any Americans in the real poker game rooms.
Since when I play poker, I always have the notion that the game is a tradition in the United States, especially the Texas Holden game.
Some American can tell if real gamer online poker is already available to Americans and why they are not yet in the real game.

Americans can only play Americans in their own state from what I know! So pokerstars New Jersey will only have new Jersey players etc.
I would like this verified by someone else but that's my understanding!

Curious, right in the United States, where they boast that they defend freedom above all, players can only play themselves, it is very weak.
The great feat of online poker is being able to play with players from around the world.
Pokerstars has to work behind the scenes to solve this, we need the Americans at the tables and tournaments.

There restrictions to play all around the globe, its hardly an American issue.

In Australia they banned on line poker (ditto many countries). In Europe there still appears to be confusion concerning which country players can opt into regarding the various ring fences (Spain and france for example) but it is not as though everybody can simply jump on line and play poker.

party poker now disallows players from 18 European countries from signing up. In other countries such as Holland technically it is not legal but the law is unenforced.

As noted, this is not something unique to the US.
