That is an odd move, I wonder how the HS regs are going to react(didn't watch the vid).

never noticed that before.... just reminded me of those links people always post in the comments section guess it's legit but still seems like a strange move from stars

Well kind of...because you can rake a cash game player a whole lot more in a day compsred to a tourney player and its not even an argument if they are professional poker players

Ah yeah it is a legit link, sorry for the previous post...was just uninformed. I should have checked it through sandbox or something before posting, but will do that in the future before jumping to conclusions.

Its something that should be welcomed. TBH it tops all table selection software in its tracks, everyone now gets the same shot at the fish.

umm not really... check the high stakes thread over on 2+2 pretty much all of the action and HH's are from stars.

agreed. Watched the video and it seems at least some high stakes regs are okay with it.

maybe full tilt will get more high stakes action because of this. i bet the HS regs do not like this change.

I can't play at pokerstars so my opinion probably doesn't matter but I do not like it..

I understand it but part of poker is seat selection, I've played Zoom a couple of times and it's not the same.. Part of poker is knowing how your opponents play and position and zoom is constantly changing your opponents and your position..

Another thing this might kill is people who want to rail the high stakes games, since you can not rail Zoom.

Not everyone likes zoom and he suggested that it could be something that moves down in stakes.

Will it also be zoom for HU games? I didn't really hear an answer for that one way or another but he did say "all 50/100 games and up...

They guy in the video says this was requested by the players, but who know how true that is or how many people actually requested it. I think they might like it because they will all get an equal chance to sit with the fish. I know on the micros, when I see a juicy table with a guy spazzing off money, the table has a wait list. Usually that player is gone by the time I get to sit down. So they will all get a chance to play the fish without doing any sort of table selection. Guess we will have to wait and see what the general concensus is after a while of this.

I am a bit surprised by this move, just a move to grab more rake by pokerstars? Surely it's better to have more choice for players?

^Exactly you think it would be better for more choice..

He mentioned that regulars wanted this how much you bet 80% of those regulars played zoom exclusively (don't bet over 25 cents or I can't afford it)

It would be a smart move by zoom players to get other players in to their home field advantage
