I've got some money on UB, but I hate that site anymore. I would like to move it over to either FT or PS. I'm going to mainly be playing tourneys and of course I want low buy ins and low number of entries per tourney.

Right now, I'm leaning towards FT because I can't decipher how to even find tourneys at stars! But I was wanting to get suggestions.

(and please don't post about how you would go to X site because Y site is rigged/has more suckouts/whatever dumb stuff you can think up)

I suggest Full Tilt for a reason I have never seen posted. If you are using any Tracker, Full Tilt sends a tourney summary at the end of your tourneys, that PT3 (don't know HEM) will automatically import as long as you leave the tourney lobby open long enough to get it. NO OTHER SITE DOES THIS!

Hmmm... I did not know that. I use HEM and I'm sure if PT3 can pick it up HEM should be able to. Anyone know for sure?

Pstars. They take out a lower percent on the small buy ins. Though you do have larger tourney if you play scheldueld tourney. Another thing in my opinion is there service at pstars. THat is my opinion on the situation.

Yes, the support, from what I've seen, is awesome at Stars. And that should always be a deciding factor.

Do you already have an FTP account?

Unfortunately, for rake issues, I have accounts at both. That does suck.:(

If you can't get rakeback on FTP, then it's Stars all the way, imo.

Okay, here's a question for anyone who knows...

What's the typical # of entries in a $2.20 b/i tourney and a $5.50 b/i tourney on both stars and tilt?

Anywhere from 500-2000+ on Stars, depending on the tournament type and what time it is. I'd guess it averages out to around 1200 or so.

:eek::eek::eek:

Geez, I'm used to playing in those with ~400 at UB. Geez, this might be a bigger switch than I thought. And since I still only play one at a time I might only get in two a day.

Stars all the way. Their support team is much better. They have much more to offer in terms of tournaments, between the buy in levels and players who play them. They have cash games of all stakes at all times.

Okay, besides the (I think) one post that said "ftp is much better" it looks like stars is where I'm gonna try to move my money.

Thanks all for the input. And a mod can either close this thread or leave it open for others to reference.

PS cause of FPP rackback and suport imo.
FT does have lower # of players in 2-5$ tourneys(200-1200 oposed to PS 500-3000) but i still have to say PS but there FPP are almost worthless oposed to PS.

fyi i play both and like u can see i prefer PS :)

Pokerstars. Why? They are the biggest, have the best support, great promotions and a wide variety of games. And I think FT sucks :)

As Shrog pointed out, if you like smaller fields, the 180 mans on Stars are teh nutz. And very very soft even up to the $22's and $36's.

I'd go to FTP. Its a better organized site for starters just to look at, they have quite a few special event tournaments, the play is pretty soft at the lower limits, and there's "alot" of other sites that run matches on it.

pokerstars searches your active programs for anything that could give you an advantage... i don't like anyone looking at what programs i have open. FTP is my choice of the too.
