Pokerstars Frozen Account

I recently made a pokerstars account and deposited a few hundred dollars to play, but after a few hours my account was frozen because Pokerstars was conducting a "stardard" security check. I deposited through visa debit and they needed a bank statement with the card number on it, and after talking with my bank I couldn't get a bank statement with the card number, only the number of the account.

After multiple e-mails with Pokerstars, I asked them to withdraw the remaining funds in the accounts for me but support refuses to do so. Is there any way I can get my money back? I don't care about the account being frozen but I need to withdraw the money deposited somehow.

Explain to them that the statement only has the account No, not the card No, and see if they will accept a photo of your debit card and drivers licence.

I already sent them a scan of those two items, but it seems they are still not willing to budge. Would contacting my financial institution about a charge-back help at all?

It's in-comprehensive, when they get a photo of your debit card they should unblock your account, it's very unfair from pokerstars.

Hope you will get your money back

I think you need your bank to get this money back for you.

If they frozen your account you can not transfer your money to another player or to full tilt,so you can not find another way to withdraw.
You must send them a photo of your debit card(just hide the last 3numbers),your id and a recent bill.
Ask your bank to give you the history of your transaction whit your debit cards and send them that to.

I hate when sites do that, for instance 888.com to be able to withdrawal they ask you a passport photo and a service to your name!

To make deposits ooooohhh no problem sir! But to withdrawal, it is another story.

I'm not sure if your bank would do it, but its worth a try, but first work with poker stars customer support, they are the best in the business, I am sure you will be able to work it out eventually.

Buddy one Thing , ask them in social platforms like Facebook and twitters . let the whole world know why they refuse ur case .. those platforms are very powerful tool in letting These sites budge.. cos u have a valid point

I also wanted to solve their problems with a poker room through Facebook, I put on their webpage request for payment of my money for a few minutes downloaded and blocked my access to the site;
