Pokerstars frozen

I've used pokerstars without serious problems for years, but now I'm stuck. I'm in a Sit and Go games list screen and nothing there responds to mouse clicks. Overlaying the list screen is a brown window telling me that I'm using an old version of Pokerstars and that I should upgrade. There is an "Upgade Software" button, but clicking this has no effect either. I can't go anywhere. What's the solution?

Removing and re-installing is the most appropriate method at the moment, if persist you should contact support for better solutions

Clean your computer from unnecessary debris and reinstall the program.

And one more if re-install do not halp you, contact to the PS support.

did you check your pc or whatever you use for poker for problems is ti running well ?connect with the support of PS uninstall PS and reinstall it.

You should indeed re-install PS.

I have had the same issue.

I have seen a few streamers like "tonkaaaa" said that if it froze and you are register in a tourney do not close the software, otherwise it could not let you in after restarting it, and you could lose the tourney, so maybe try and contact support by email or something

Before reinstalling the software check that you have the correct date and time on your PC

I can't uninstall because a search on my PC says there is no Pokerstars program. The program is not shown on the program list either. This is a real pain

U put layout, if that, files is not downloaded, u must reinstall client ps, and if u have saving notes and handhistory do it now.

If it does not show up in your configuration screen, isn't it just a matter of downloading it again ?
