hi my ps account was frozen because i open another account amd deposit from the same credit card. i know now it was a stupid thing but the reason was just to have a diferent screenname and to enter a first deposit bonus, ps emailed me and i said the truth that a only wanted a new screen name and a bonus and that i didnt know this could happend, my account was frozen with the 600 dollars i deposit, i wanted to know if im going to get my money back?

Contacting stars and explaining was the right thing to do. I'm not really sure what they will do but here are some possibilities
1. Refund your money by check (since most credit cards they do not refund to), then close your acc.
2. Transfer your money to your 1st acc and close the 2nd
3. Close the 1st acc and leave the second with the money to play in.

What ever they do it will take some time, as you know it's an investigation that needs to be sorted out. There could be many other reason why you open a second account to them. Best you can do now is have patience and wait for them to respond to you. Do not open any other acc. Good luck

Well as you know you broke the rules. Either opening an account for deposit bonus or different screen name isn't allowed. To be honest I've no idea if you will get money back, I think you will assuming you haven't been multi accounting and playing on both accounts since you opened up your new one. They might close your new account and transfer the money over to your old account.

I highly doubt they will keep your new account open, the main problem here is if you had a bonus on your old account and was trying to get a new bonus, if that's the case then you might have problems getting the money back.

Best thing is to just ask them once, don't spam them with multiple emails though constantly.

They will be checking your accounts for anything like that. They will be able to know if you did anything like that anyway and If you haven't then there shouldn't be a problem. If you also played or logged in on your old account since opening your new account it might cause a problem. Did you ever have a deposit bonus on your first account by the way?

dame, yes i loged in the 1 acc and played a tourney when they closed the 2 acc , and i think i did had a bonus. the whole story is like this i had a 2 acc like 2 years ago and opened a 3 acc they freeze the 3 and transfer the funds to only one acc, that was long time ago, then know i stupidly opend a new one and deposit, i never ever tried to play on diferent accounts at the same time and ps can investigate that, i only wanted bonus and new screen name, of my first 3 acc i think only 1 had bonus

they have replied me this

Please be advised having more than a single account is not permitted at pokerstars. As a result we have closed '*****' as a duplicate of '*****'. Should you wish to contact us regarding your account, please do so from the email registered to account '*****'.

Please refrain from opening duplicate accounts as these will be subsequently closed and any funds in them will be confiscated, and all future duplicate accounts found may lead to the permanent closure of your existing account.

Note: Please do not attempt to create any other accounts as doing so is a violation of our Terms of Service. If we discover a new account, it will be closed without notice, you will be liable for any loss that could occur and the remaining funds could be confiscated.

Well at least you got lucky and got your account back and can play again. Did they transfer the funds into your old account then?

I've actually been in a similiar situation before and got my money back , it took a long time (couple weeks) but I got it all back. It varies from case to case though. I opened a second acc for my wife in 08 and both acc was frozen. I got an email from them saying there's multiple acc, I explained to them what happened. They replied back saying its under investigation like what ram explained above but i was clean so they closed the new acc and transferred all the money to my original acc.

On a side note, i think your allowed to open a second acc in someone's else name in the same household but I put my name instead of my wife because she wanted to use my credit card to deposit at that time.

Like we explained it might take a while for them to sort it out. For now you should just not play at all or deposit any more money until it's resolved. Nothing much you can really do. I had to sit tight for 2 weeks which was driving me insane, I had over 1k in my wife and over 3k in mine . Best of luck

ty, but by meaning they will take a time to sort it out, that means they will take time but give my money back? or that their is a posibility that they keep my funds?

I'm not sure exactly what they would do like I explained but from experience, telling them the truth why you opened it and after they check it out to make sure there was no other reason other than you stated I don't see why they won't give it back. Also if any bonus was given and used they will easily take that out from your 600.

Edit
Pokerstars is very strict with their rules but also very understanding depending on the situation. I've made a few deposit before from my bank acc and the money was not in there (bills authorized before due date) . They actually gave me the money to play with and after I explained it to them they did not freeze my acc but pulled the deposit out from my winnings. They're nice to their customers who've been a long time member. Have you been with stars a while?

One thing I know about Stars is that they are very strict with banking.

When my account was verified (as standard verification) they told me I had 30 days to submit the papers or they would close my account.

I've been verified by many other poker sites and none of them has threaten me to close my account if I did not meet their deadline.

But if you comply to their rules, support is very good.

Properly reading the first paragraph, doesn't look too good for you. Since you've opened 3 acc total not sure if you would get the money back. Thought this was a one time mistake you can't do the same thing back again.

If we discover a new account, it will be closed without notice, you will be liable for any loss that could occur and the remaining funds could be confiscated." talks in future so that gave me some faith

Personally, I'm not sure I believe your excuse as there's much more info you need to provide that would keep you unable to successfully open a 2nd account. And thus if you were successful there'd be only a short time before you'd have the idea of trying to play both accounts at the same time. I think your money is lost and you'll be banned for life. Multi accounting has been pinned on several pros who've lost much larger sums and had titles stripped. Perhaps you might try a google search of 'pokerstars multi accounting'. And surely if you were able and did log into both accounts at the same time you'd have zilch, nada, no chance to ever see any part of your frozen accounts. I guess its possible you may convince PokerStars you were so naive, but I doubt it would even be considered.

Glad it worked out for you. Actually very surprised too. I'd be even more surprised if the bonus was transfer'd as well, especially after you admitted being fraudulent to obtain bonus.
