I play those speed tables on PLO like 2 at a time, and only 2 at a time, cuz 4 of them I do actually sit out as someone pointed out also...
As for helping players actually play better or not...I mean it's 2nl right (Not to say it's not money or anything of that nature)..Yet because it's 2nl players will play loose period, so to answer your question, if your saying does a speed table help players to play better the answer is no (Not because it's speed tables but because of the limit your playing at), players are generally way more looser preflop and you get more A.I post flop+Cbets aren't as respected...So I hope I answered your question
To answer your other question about the counting odds part (You don't really need alot of time to do the multiplication aspect of your outs X the 2 streets left right)...In that aspect it will help your game out because you have to make quicker decisions on all streets+narrow your opponents ranges down to a certain degree...
It will help you also out in the future if you ever do decide to play like 12-24tables right (Quicker decisions)
