I have been playing on pokerstars for many years now, 3 nights ago I emailed them with a query as to why I did not receive any FPP'S whilst playing. I received a satisfactory email but low and behold I went to login to my account afterwards and it came up with an error, please contact support, I have done nothing wrong and broken no rules but have been pushed from pillar to post, after a while my patience failed me and I joined PKR.com which in my opinion and a lot of ex pokerstars players who have since joined me there is a far better site with much more going on. I have emailed pokerstars to this effect and requested that I have my account closed and all monies returned to me and just get emails telling me im in a queue and thanks for my patience. A joke to be honest.
Be warned jsut because pokerstars thinks they are the biggest and best site out there they are far from it and there are much better sites for the consumer.

No FPPs ? Well thats a first. Play money or 1c/2c limit ?

PM me if you have proof/emails, and i will reopen this thread for you to post your evidence in. Otherwise the thread stays locked.

I filled in a survey for stars and was promised 300fpp, I'm still waiting on them. I emailed stars and there reply was due to the amount of surveys returned i should be patient.

That was one month ago, how long does a huge site take to give you what you are promised? to be honest I'm not really fussed for them, its just the principal.

Sounds to me like there is more to the story. Can't really comment with nothing to back up your story. I've never had any problems with poker stars. What limits are you playing? Are you playing for real money?

Maybe i can help. I was logged in and was playing and realized that i wasnt accruing ne fpp's. I emailed support and they explained it in great detail. If you are playin .01/.02 or .05/.10 then u prob will not accrue any fpps because the rake in the pot needs to be .40 or more to get the fpps.

Usually playing such small limits wont work because the pot will rarely hit $8 or more. I suggest u build your roll up and move to the higher limits if your really concerned about fpp's that much

IMO that is the least of my concerns on pokerstars any more. My main goal is keeping my head afloat and a bankroll intact. Hope i could help

I did the survey as well and got the fpp's with no problems, whenever i have had to email the stars support they have been brilliant and i honestly have no complaints about them at all, fulltilt on the other hand is an absolute pain in the backside whenever you want them to do anything for you, even cashing out takes about 3-4 days longer than stars!

I've always received my 300fpp's right on time after doing a survey for them. Send a follow-up polite inquiry to support and I'm sure they'll fix it for you.

Have you asked pokerstars why they locked your account?

if someone was trying to hack your account, wouldnt you want them to lock it?

if someone reported you for chip dumping or colluding, would you not want them to investigate it? (well maybe not lol but you know what I mean!)

sure there's a logical explanation, you often have to have a lot of patience with all poker site supports- they generally dont lock accounts/ withhold funds without good reason....

Have looked at PKR, be interested if anyone else thinks they're any good- know they're software uses a lot of memory and have heard of problems with it- is this true?

As for surveys, how do I get one????

Checked out the PKR.com site, and it looks pretty cool. I'm not ready to open another account just yet, but I would be interested in folks' opinions on this one.

Wouldn't it have been better to open a new thread, instead of asking about PKR in a PokerStars thread? :dontknow:

...<snipped>...

As for surveys, how do I get one????

They are sent at random by Pokerstars Marketing team. No way to 'request' one. Each time I've received one from Stars it has been shortly after sending an e-mail to Support, but not on any specific subject.

One day, the offer may just 'show up' in your e-mail.
