Pokerstars disconnecting Constantly!!

I never have this problem on Stars (rarely) but today I am disconnecting Constantly!! It's happening for a couple others on my mtt table too. This goin' on for others today? Sucks cuz I'm in a SCOOP mtt & disconnecting every time is beginning to get me down in spirits.

I've been playing the home game for almost three hours, and haven't had a single problem.

Come to think of it, I didn't disconnect in the HomeGame either. But in the SCOOP I was disconnecting 3x /orbit (just after I went out of HomeGame).

Ugh, how irritating! I've never had any connectivity issues on Stars, other than when I had dial up (I still shudder just thinking of that ). Maybe it's your provider?

Everything else is running as smoothly as ever. Not sure what it 'was' (yah.. I'm out, lol). A few spots I wanted to open but didn't get the oppurtunity to do so, a couple others where I opened then folded to 3bet (even though I didn't fold to 3bet, lol) & then just chose to 3bet allin after that, not wanting to risk losing the hand from a disconnect again.
I played a few hours of ring tables the past couple of days on there too, w/o any problems (although I've had this happen on Stars before).
Fingers crossed for the next games I guess. I do feel fortunate to be able to play. I still can't believe the US bs. with ftp & stars.

Now that I think of it, when I logged on today to play the CC game, there was an update to download, but there was an error, and it didn't go through. So maybe you have the latest download from Stars, and it's glitchy? :dontknow:

I have heard a few people complaining about this. I have had some disconnection problems with PS even although other sites which are live at the same time stay connected. I have emailed PS about this but they always say the fault is at my end and their systems are running okay.

Has gotten much worse today. This evening it was disconnecting every 2-3 hands, drove my tables NUTS & lost a few 3bet pots because of it before I finally gave up. Not to be a huge whiner (with US not even being able to play on there) but I've actually rarely ever played on pokerstars in the past couple of years & then just this past week or so I began playing on there & now I'm not able to play on there either, lol.
Wrote to support. Un-installed/re-installed the software, rebooted puter a few times, rebooted modem & router a couple of times, crossed fingers many times, lol... all w/o any success

Found this on their website...it sounds like maybe you've already done this, but just in case you didn't supply the info they need:

If your connection is only poor for PokerStars or has been a long-term reoccurring connection issue it is possible it is revealing a connection stability issue that will not manifest itself on most other Internet sites and applications. We are willing to assist you in trying to isolate and resolve this issue and will require some information about your system and connection. If the information here fails to assist you in isolating the cause of your disconnection, please provide us with the following information so we may help.

Thanks JQ! Problem has been resolved > router issues.
I don't know the technical reasons/lingo. behind it but do recall when I first began playing on Pokerstars ('07) I had connection issues then as well. Upon contacting support, they informed me that (for some reason this puter illiterate couldn't comprehend so bare with me) with some routers you will experience difficulties but they will sort themselves out in time (again, I forget the reasoning behind it as I was clueless about computers at the time & still to this day have only a very basic understanding of them).
I re-booted my router (Linksys) a number of times & now it is running smoothly once again. Something to do with the last update I'm assuming, which brought about similiar problems to the ones I was experiencing when I first began playing on Stars.
