Are PokerStars Chests Rigged?

I'm asking this just because I noticed that each time we are on a new week, and I open a chest, I always get the Ticket for the 5K Weekly Tournament.

Does this also happens to any of you?

to the majority yes, the program treats almost all of us equally, it is also a marketing strategy to get you excited and keep looking for more tikets

I think that it's more odd's that u'll recieve this ticket than u'll don't get it. It is better for poker stars to give u awful ticket than something better

Sometimes I have two tickets in the same week :icon_scraActually I don't know, I got only once a more or less meaningful cash prize, so don't bother to notice any patterns in the amount of star coins or 0.0000something tournament money they usually give you

Always good to get a freeroll ticket! I got 2 in a row last week but not had one since.

you guys are all lucky, i've opened many many chests and only twice got a ticket. Even when there was chests being filled with lots of money, I still got nothing. One chest had 0.50 dollars of tournament money.

I get them at least 2 a week, not even with an intensive game.

ther are odds involced. however only 1 time i received a ticket to a freeroll... and no i have never won money with that.

Many opened... useless thing... lost 8k usd and 2 times got 10 tourney dollars )

They are random

I go more than a month without getting a ticket then I get 4-5 in a few days

i don't know what you would expect, it is code in there so, of course there are facts that happen for a reason. i wouldn't call in rigged but more like "equal"

I open the chests
1 or 2 almost every day, and I get a ticket once a week for 5K Weekly Tournament, but to whom the prize money is given and to whom the tickets for the tournament are, the ticket is very good when it falls, but in the tournament you still need to play and try to win prizes!

How is it "rigged" if they're giving you something of value? I get them fairly often as well, but don't usually get to play them. I can't say that I like any of the promotions and gimmicks on Stars though, especially the Shootout tournaments that you win sometimes.

They dont need to do that, because they made any algorithm that gives us less rakeback.

wtf! Everybody's getting tickets while I haven't got a single one. And I've gone as far as to getting brown chests daily!

I do not really like this new sisitema of chests, I would rather the old one was much better. But I think so, they give one sometimes two tickets a week for each one that always opens the chests. I won 1US yesterday
