Beat the Clock, complete your Challenge and grab a share of over $200,000!

Beat the Clock is a fun new twist on tournament poker in which players who can survive five minutes of tournament action are guaranteed a share of the prize pool. To celebrate this speedy new format we’re introducing Beat the Clock Challenges - easy-to-complete missions that give you a chance to win a share of $10,000, every day.

How to complete the Beat the Clock daily Challenge

Open your Challenges window to opt-in for the Beat the Clock Challenge - complete the Challenge as described in the table below and you’ll be automatically registered to an All-in Shootout with a $10,000 prize pool! There will be a new Challenge available every day until December 4, and you can complete as many as you like to give yourself the best chance to win.

The $10K All-in Shootouts run daily from November 15-December 5 at 05:05 ET. Once you’re registered you don’t have to be present or even logged-in to be eligible to win the biggest prizes - every player is automatically moved all-in until there is a winner.

I played 3 x $1 games and managed to cash in 2 of them. It's a 6 max hyper turbo zoom tourney.

Based on the games I played, usually 1st will get about $10 and a min cash would be about $0.50, but it all depends on your stack at the end of 5 minutes. Starts with 48 players and about 15 players cash.

You can get 5x $1 Beat the clock tickets if you deposit $15 with the code CLOCK2016. Since I had to make another deposit to reach the minimum withdrawal limit I did it and won about $4.50 off the tickets, which is OK considering I had 0 PP's over the 5 games. It's almost a push or fold game, there was an all in roughly 50% of the hands I saw.

Not Interested.
I don't want beattheclocks, spingos or bingos.
I just want a poker site to play poker on.

Its actually fun, all action within 5 minutes. But do not play if one has a small BR as you wont cash in every game and a player requires a continuous play of 5-6 games to be profitable overall.

I never seen the player Cristiano Ronaldo playing at pokerstars. I think that this is just marketing. However, the Neymar already appeared sometimes, even though rarely.

It's an easy way to fast get some money, however it's small amount of dollars (buy-in is 1$ and an average prize is 2 - 2,5$). I like this ;)

it does not make sense

I did not like . Very fast, no strategy. Even if you manage your chips, you lose. So it does not make sense

I have to say that those promo games are bit of luck, and I agree with most of us. But, anyway I play today 3 x 1$ and here are results:
game 1 : finished in 4th place = $3.96
game 2 : finished in 12th place = $1.34
game 3 : finished in 16th place = $0.56
All in all I'm +$2.86 and collect 1ticket for $10.000 All-in Shootout, so we will see where that take me :D:D:D:D:D
P.S. Just to remind that you have to take ''Beat the Clock Poker Challenges'' to collect ticket for $10.000 All-in Shootout.

Good luck to all :icon_thum:icon_thum:icon_thum

The game ends quickly, but it's hard to believe that it's the most lucrative option. I'll wait for the other players to post their results to see if it's advantageous.

It looks interesting, I normally play zoom .10/.25 NL 6seat, so I'll give this a try. If I do well, I'll be back to brag. If I get creamed then I'll be back to lie about winning.

It's a good challenge but not for me, here the luck plays and important rol and not so much the strategy, but if you make it until the end the prize is good.

Well, I played three and got creamed! It goes very fast, and you can't just limp into the money. By the third hand there are players who have doubled their stack or more and it's hard to bluff a much higher stack.
So if you play these, you likely need to double up quite early. At least I got a ticket to the shootout, maybe I'll win that lottery. Plus I got 3 x 0.55 FPP or whatever they are calling their reward points these days.

Quite an interesting concept. I think I may pass based on Odysseus' remarks.

These games are like tiltomatic on steroids.

Even more than spin and goes.

You can easily go on tilt with these hyper sngs and start playing them again and again and lose a large part of your bankroll . You really have to know how to play them . I haven't and won't try them , only on play money .:)

It 's a 4 max .
A while ago appeared a 6 max 0.10$ or 0.11$ " Test Time Bomb " [/B] on the tournament lobby/section , I guess it was a preparation/rehearsal for what was to come . I played it , it was the same , no loss no profit , just rake .

Those tourneys fill up so fast that it's hard to register. People like the high variance I guess.

I saw the it on playmoney
and played 1 game.
it does not have actual big edge between regular and advanced players
because the blinds are so high, the tournaments comes with very short stacked.
it is very hard to get some edge against loose players.

and the payout structure not good either.
so basically, it is not a good choice.
