I have played a lot of freerolls.
5000-10000 players ..
I always get out around 200-300 players.
I never get in the prices..
I want to see how you guys build it up.

Any tips to build bankroll (pokerstars)

play the weekly round 2 satellites and try and get as many tickets as you can. then every weekend play in the $2000 freerolls and try and cash and win it :) if you cash for a small amount don't go and just blow it, save it up until you have $10 or more and start playing small sit and gos, say 25c buy in or 10c buy in and if you play well enough your roll will slowly but surely grow

Do not play these crazy freerolls where many people , waste of time , or if you continue to play , advice increases your aggression in game that build quickly stack, plays a very loose game and you will see someday final table..

The easiest way to built a bankroll is reload with minimum 10$ and play the little tournaments (0,10$ for exemple). When you win some of them you can play some sat and collect tickets. When you have a lot of them you can play one once in a wild.

Without reload, you have to play the Freerolls and don't give up cause one day you will get in the prices.

You need to register at the poker school from PokerStars, play poker open League, the results for the final month and that can win, the More you can read on the website https://www.pokerstarter.org and there's a couple of tests sdav they can get some hlavacka.

there are many micro fishy games on stars quite franky if you cant beat the $1 games then not meaning to be harsh but theres no point wasting your time in free rolls because you will lose as soon as you play well anything.

if you can beat the $1 games then just deposit $50 and work it up, which beats the heck out of playing free rolls.

that been said there are many many reasons why it makes no sense to play on pokerstars anymore so I dont know why your playing there.

I wouldn't so much advice to deposit, before maybe cashing in a freeroll :p

But I agree with LukeSilver to give Pokerstars a rest and try other sites. I don't know the best sites for freerolls, but don't every site has freerolls? So try every one until you scoop one :)

There are lots of poker strategy articles which talk specifically about how to play in the bubble - You should read them and see if you can get to the prize!

poker is getting harder all the time i accept that but micro sngs are still laughably easy perhaps because no one can make a living wage there. i can understand struggling at $7 games where multi tabling pros play. however there is no excuse for failing to beat $1 games or penny games when someone could read basic strategy for 30 minutes and know enough to be a winning player there.

all it can possibly show is a complete lack of effort or intelligence possibly both.

with such a huge players pool its really hard to be able to make something on that tournament...............may be you should try freerolls with less people on other sites.

Hi Beast. To start I don't think Pokerstars is too bad, but if you are struggling to make it to the money why don't you give full tilt poker a try? The freerolls on there are easier than PS and you can link your accounts, so, you can make it easier to transfer money between the two. It is very easy on FTP to get tickets for the weekly $250.00 freerolls and go from there.

There are lots of strategy books about playing near the bubble, also some good videos out there. After a bit of study it should be quite easy to adjust your game and make the money. My one bit of advice for bubble play is "don't be frightened of not making the money". As you will read too many players freeze up just to make the money, be expansive and attack small stacks, when you are in position. Gl and hope to hear about your successes soon.............:D:D:D

Many sites have much more and better freerolls than Pokerstars with less players and normal payouts 10-100$. No need waste time for 10c :)

the easiest option if you really want to go down the no deposit route is to try titan. new accounts get to play new member sngs. you can register for 3 per hour and theres a 30c and get nine or 10 weeks access i think. A lot of players just register and sit out so you cash cash regularly and slowly build a bank roll to take onto real money tables.

I think to build a bankroll from freerolls is a lot of work and almost impossible. it is better to make a Deposit and play for a good limits. then possible to feel the game and get a decent income. moreover, even 100-150 dollars is not a lot of money. but it's interesting to watch how the professionals do bankroll from scratch!!!

888 has a nice Holiday promotion on right now.
There is a spin game that you can play daily and you will usually get a ticket to a $500 freeroll with max players 5,000. Always full so register early. That works out to a 10 cent buyin ($500/$5000)
If you want to join 888 use the Cardschat link to help support the forum. It is at the top of the Cardschat log in page.
The value of the poker stars satellites varies but is much less.
Joining the Poker Scool online at Stars is also a good way to build your bankroll from nothing.
Another way to build your bankroll is to post and participate at Cardschat and get in the Freeroll club.
It isn't easy to cah but the games usually have less than 100 so the value is $1 or more per game just for participating in the forum and if you join the Social Media Club there is more opportunities to build your bankroll with the SMC feeroll held weekly at Stars.
Hope this will help get you on your way to poker riches.

Just deposit 10$ and get the 100% bonus (or better if there currently is?) and play 9man 0.50$ turbos, they're easy to beat and have low variance. Trying to earn money from freerolls will just take too long, and as someone mentioned above you'll likely lose the small amount you win straight away due to short term variance.

using a 100% first deposit bonus on a 10$ deposit is stupid unless you do it on a site you'll never play again.

It's a lot more worthwhile than playing just freerolls. Obviously depositing more would be more beneficial but if it's money he's tight on or whatever then the bonus will at least help. Also (not 100% on this) the bonus is for three deposits within a certain time frame so if he finds he's doing well he can deposit more and get a larger bonus.

I think if you are a weak poker player , it is better to play freerolls as to spend his salary is meaningless , and the sites except PokerStars freerolls which is I do not know ...

You can start at $1 45 man games at pokerstars. yes the games at pokerstars is harder than othersites , but hey if you want to become good at game , you Need to Play in tough competition. Best of luck and ya 50 buyins for those games means 50 bucks should be ok to start with

Pokerstars freerolls are very bad for any reasonable profit (the same at FTP).

Try less popular sites, those are usually much more generous for freerolls.
E.g. party poker has promotion now, giving out tickets to 250$ freeroll very often.
I would say Im able to cash at every 2nd such freeroll. Not much $, but much better then playing for hours with 10000 other players and bust out close to ITM.
