About the league, I have played in the old league system, and I don't know exactly how much it has improved with the new system, but I remember I have spend so much time playing them, every day of the month, multiple tournaments, to get 1 dollar in the end. In a good freeroll, you can get that in once (or in a few freerolls maybe, if you don't end in the money) instead of spending hours a day for a whole month.
