Hello everyone,

I hope I'm putting this in the right section, but I was wondering,
if you use a pokerstars ticket you got with the daily challenges to register for an all-in shootout, are you still required to be online at the time of tournament to participate or is it just played without you actually being present?

It would make sense if you needed to be present, but then again, you don't really click or do anything at those tournies..

It seems like a waste of time to make sure you're present at the other tournies (usually hyper, or turbo zoom) as 5k-10k people are participating

Congrats on your win. I gave up a while back after never winning anything (I must have entered at least 50 times).

I also renounce those tournaments because more than 6,000 players register and so is simply a lottery to win something, is more accessible heads up and you should win approximately 8 showdown row to win something .... jejejejeje:( :(

some all in shootouts were decent but those giveaway shootouts are not worth it. you're better off trying zoom or heads up

I really hate these all in shootouts , it's kind of a lotto , what are the odds to win sth . I have never won anything from these , I prefer playing zoom or heads up , much better , especially with the headsup giveaway :)

I played many all shootouts in pokerstars but never passed the second hand. Really good luck those who won something.

I played a few times, once won $ 10. Better not be present, just irritated when losing with AQ vs 49

To be honest I don't completely disagree with the all in shootouts. A lot of people are constantly winning those 'poker cash giveaway' tickets but they don't want to use them for a proper freeroll where they have to play for hours to get a $1 prize. If it weren't for them, a lot of those tickets would just never be used, so its quite good that they let you use it for something. Clearly it isn't poker and it is just chance, but if people don't want to play an actual freeroll, it is a good thing that they exist. For me at least...

The whole thing is a rubbish promotion.
I only start the challenges for games I am about to play anyway.
So I end up with a few rubbish tickets.
There is no point wasting time on Zoom, HeadsUp or even the quicker HyperTurbos for such small rewards, unless you just feel like playing these for fun.
Most of the time the spare tickets just get registered in the AllinShootOuts before they expire.
So far a few hundred tickets burnt for no return.

I hate all the promotions at PS, but at least with the All In shootouts you don't have to waste your time. I did win a whole $1 once about 3 months ago, but then again I rarely bother with PS at all since the changes they made last Dec/Jan.
