Hello guys!

I have an issue with my pokerstars account, and would really appreciate if you have any tips on how to handle this situation. About 2 years ago when I was underaged I created a pokerstars account, giving the wrong date of birth to be able to play. However it worked out well, and it has been going well last year. About 4 months ago I tried to withdrawal some of my winnings (like $300), and it did not work. The money was lost both from my account and my bank have not received any money still. I mailed and talked to support trying to get my money but nothing happend. So I thought maybe it had something to do with my wrong date of birth stated on my pokerstars account (probably not but could be the reason). I just let it go and it was not that of a big issue for me.

2 days ago (now over 18) I thought it maybe it would be a good decision to create a new account with the right date of birth so I could (if I wanted later) withdrawal money. I thought it through and thought that it might be worth it to risk being banned to being able to some day withdrawal money. And not end up with a big amount of money on the account without being able to withdrawal any of it. I know a could have done things diferently and handle it better but now im in a bad situation.

After creating the new account they both got frozen probably because some robot in their system realized that there are now 2 accounts on the same IP adress. I received an email from pokerstars that this is a routine check and I just need to send in a picture of my ID card. So I did that, however I got a few thousand dollars on both the accounts that I now can't touch.

How should I handle this situation? I can confess and tell them that I have 2 accounts because of the true reason (or another reason), and I would guess the consequences of that would be a ban and that they take my money. Or would you guys suggest in handeling it differently? Deny the knowledge of the other account in some way (btw both accounts have the first and last name of me, so that sucks).

Is there anyway I can access my money and/or not get banned. Or what do you think the consequences will be?

Sorry for the long post really appreciate any tips on how to handle the situation<3

You can try to explain to them your situation in the letter.

It sounds like you should be able to salvage the one account when you were of legal age. However, you may be out of luck with your first account.

I would just send them your ID and hope for the best. Good luck.

Just tell the truth, there's a chance you lose the money on the original account and there's a chance of a ban. Either way they already will have evidence these accounts were accessed from the same ip, so they know something is up. PokerStars support is pretty quick and getting back to people! Best of luck to you!

Stars is very strictly with everything what can be related with deception. Try to open account at other room using only your truthful data because you have a chance to be banned from every room you try to scam, PS I think is closed for you!

You can bluff playing poker, not with the support or registration.
Send the info you posted above to ps support and tell them you are sorry.
My guess:
-If you're lucky you'll loose the first account
-With bad luck you'll remain banned and loose both accounts

I had a similar situation, I moved to another country and because of this lost all data of your old account (I have more than 6 years old account and just forgot your login), I created a new account with the data played in the freerolls and then learned that it is a violation of (2 account), I wrote my first support letter in which they explained their situation, after a quick check (about 2 weeks) I received a reply, my old record is deleted and the new were allowed to play without restrictions

Well, you did lie and when you did, you probably knew the consequences. My guess is that you'll be banned forever from PokerStars but since you're resourceful, I don't think that will be a huge issue.

Secondly, try calling them (or e-mailing them, but I'd go for a call) and say you just want the money you've earned.

Haven't studied their policy for frozen accounts so I don't know what happens with the bankroll in a situation like this. You should research it though before taking any action.

I don't think there's a good reason for them to run away with your dough, even if you lied.

But finally, your account will surely and should remain closed.

In 2015 I went the same way. I have blocked my email account and have been registered. After the exchange of letters I returned in 2016. The point is, you're not going to go to PS for half a year, just make sure you're right.

Mate, I think that you are facing tough negotiations with the pokerstars ... Be persistent, explain them in a nice way, but they will hardly accept your excuse ... I wish you a lot of luck:confused:
