Has any1 ever cashed in the 5K weekly freeroll I've got 3 tickets and never played because I work most Saturdays and play in casino on Saturday nights. I was just wondering how many ppl play in them and is it a good tournament by good I mean caliber of player and payouts. Thanks.
I had already won a few cents..lol
Not worthy to stay at home to play this tournament only, it's more than 10.000 players and it's like a normal freeroll with crazy players and lots of all ins every hand.
I won several chests and they had 2 tickets for 5K Weekley freeroll. In one tournament 21 000 players took part, I took 211 place and got almost 2$. And in the second tournament, I almost immediately lost. In general, I do not really like these tournaments, because they involve a lot of players and a small prize pool. But it's good that tickets for these tournaments are given absolutely free of charge. Thanks to PokerStars for giving players the opportunity to win a few dollars without investing money.
Easiest tournaments ever to cash in. The money is usually reached before the late registration is over, so just wait until there are like 20 people left until the bubble before you register. You'll be in terrible condition, but at least you get about one dollar if you play the late night edition. That's a free tournament entry for us micro players.
I get the 3 tickets to 10k freeroll, at first I tried to play very carefully, but I got too aggressive table. Had to put a few times on the KQ and JJ, I won and lost on KK, Here's a game experience in this tournament
Took 2nd in the 5k chromestar once, i suppose this is the equivalent of that now .... not really sized up the lobby much since i got back playing a bit and think their vip or whatever the hell it is now system has changed a couple of times since chromestar etc lol.

I think it's somewhat dependent on your BR and your expected ROI as to whether or not these freerolls are worth playing. I've always registered for the 6:00 PM Pacific time game (The last option every week) and had some success with it. I think I've averaged about $1 over all the Stars Rewards Freerolls I've played. If you have room for another table on your screen I think it's worth playing as free money is free money. But if you have a pretty strong ROI and $1 wont do much of anything for your BR you can probably do without.
I do not like such freerolls with a large number of players. It makes them play crazy. To get into the prizes is very difficult.
freeroll is a freeroll. ok i don't play Casino.org or Pokersites freerolls at Pokerstars because they have few prizes and you have to play several hours to get ITM. in terms of freerolls i prefer to play with turbo speed.
My best win was under $3. Cumulatively all wins total maybe $5 at best. Its a good opportunity to try out new ideas or play strategies but only after much of the donkeys have been knocked out. I would wait until approaching the bubble and then test your alternate strategies or work on your triple barrel but not from the big blind.
